Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has five Gestral Beach activities spread across the Continent: an obstacle course, raft volleyball, Gestral Ascension, a timed race, and a climbing wall. Completing them earns character swimsuits, with Chroma Catalysts also available from volleyball and the race. For the Gestral Games trophy or achievement, the guides say Normal is enough for volleyball and Silver is enough for the race; the hardest volleyball setting and Gold race are only needed for their top swimsuit rewards.

1. Obstacle Course: Gustave’s and Lune’s swimsuits
Where to find it
Look north of Red Woods and west of Gestral Village. The course runs across logs, rotating platforms, and straight or moving platforms.
How to finish and claim both rewards
There are no checkpoints, so a fall means repeating the course. Lune is a useful choice because she can glide while running. At the finish, speak to the Gestral to receive Gustave’s Swimsuit. The Gestral then offers another swimsuit through a question; answer “17” to receive Lune’s Swimsuit I. The walkthrough notes that any answer works, so the number is not a required solution.

2. Beach Raft Volley: difficulty-based rewards
Where to find it and how to play
The raft is north of Stone Wave Cliffs Cave and east of Forgotten Battlefield. Stand on it and hit the incoming baby Gestrals with melee attacks, sending them toward the opposing raft. The opponent has three difficulty settings.
What each difficulty awards
- The Weakest: Resplendent Chroma Catalyst.
- Just a normal one: Lune’s Swimsuit II.
- The Strongest: Sciel’s Swimsuit II.
Normal difficulty is enough for the Gestral Games trophy according to the walkthroughs. Choose The Strongest if you want Sciel’s swimsuit; it is not needed for that trophy.

3. Gestral Ascension: Monoco’s swimsuit
Where to find it
Gestral Ascension is west of Monoco’s Station. It is a long vertical obstacle course.
How to reach the summit
Climb without falling: a fall can mean substantial retracing. The guide recommends Maelle for visibility during the ascent. Reach the summit to claim Monoco’s Swimsuit.

4. Gestral Race: time thresholds and rewards
Where to find it
The race is east of Sirène and west of Sinister Cave. Finish the obstacle course as quickly as possible; the reward is determined by your time.
Time and reward tiers
- Bronze, under 45 seconds: Resplendent Chroma Catalyst.
- Silver, under 41 seconds: Grandiose Chroma Catalyst.
- Gold, under 38 seconds: Verso’s Swimsuit II.
Silver is sufficient for the Gestral Games trophy. Gold is only necessary if you want Verso’s swimsuit.

5. Climbing Wall: Maelle’s swimsuit
Where to find it
This challenge sits on an island in an inland lake southeast of Sunless Cliffs. You must be able to fly to reach the island.
How to climb the tower
Use the handholds to ascend while avoiding falling globes of water. Staying on the right side can reduce exposure to the falling hazards, but you must cross toward the center near the summit. Speak with the Grandis at the top to receive Maelle’s Swimsuit.

What is required for the Gestral Games trophy?
Complete all five beach challenges. The walkthroughs specify that Normal is enough for Beach Raft Volley and Silver is enough for the Gestral Race; neither the Strongest opponent nor a Gold race time is required. Those higher tiers are for the additional swimsuit rewards: Sciel’s Swimsuit II and Verso’s Swimsuit II, respectively. The Gamer Guides location entry also lists five locations and notes the flying requirement for the fifth beach.
