Golden Knight is the best all-around Champion pick in this ranking, though he is not an uncontested powerhouse: an October 2026 snapshot gives him a 45.2% win rate. Little Prince and Goblinstein follow as promising choices, while the right Champion still depends on your deck and the matchup. This is an editorial ranking—not an official Supercell tier list—and recent third-party stats are snapshots with unclear mode and player-range coverage.

How this Champion ranking works

The order weighs four things: how flexibly a Champion can fill a role, the impact and reliability of the ability, fit across deck archetypes, and recent performance evidence. The available data does not establish one universal best card: ladder, challenges, and tournaments can produce different results, and the third-party snapshots do not specify a full methodology, sample size, mode filter, or player range.

Royale Updates lists October 2026 win and use rates for all eight Champions. Those figures are useful context, not proof that small differences reflect a reliable gap in card quality. RoyaleZone, in a list updated October 7, 2026 and based on recent public battle logs, places Golden Knight first. Its data should be read separately rather than combined with Royale Updates as if the publishers measured the same sample.

Supercell Support’s current roster contains eight Champions. For the first-place pick, the specialist list and comparatively high usage provide support, while the win-rate snapshot argues against calling him dominant. The relative placements below are editorial judgments informed by roles, ability design, and the available snapshots; the sources do not publish this exact ranking.

All Champion cards, ranked

1. Golden Knight

Golden Knight’s Dashing Dash gives him a distinctive dash-and-chain-attack identity, making him the most flexible top pick in this group. RoyaleZone’s October 7, 2026 public-battle-log ranking puts him first, and Royale Updates lists the highest Champion use rate in its October snapshot: 6.47%. Its 45.2% win rate is more modest, so popularity and specialist-list placement should not be mistaken for proof that he wins more often than every alternative.

2. Little Prince

Little Prince offers a ranged role and the Royal Rescue ability, giving him a different kind of support and pressure from a frontline Champion. Supercell’s August 4, 2026 balance notes increased his charge damage from 256 to 320 and adjusted hit-speed behavior. Royale Updates’ October snapshot lists a 47.7% win rate and 1.41% use rate. The stronger win figure is encouraging, but comparatively low use and unknown sample scope make him a promising option rather than a proven universal upgrade.

Rank #2
Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid: Collector's Edition Board Game
  • THE ULTIMATE COLLECTOR'S RAIDING EXPERIENCE: Elevate your tabletop battles with this deluxe edition of Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid, a high-stakes strategy game where you build villages, recruit troops, and raid rivals for ultimate glory and victory points.
  • PREMIUM DELUXE COMPONENTS: This massive set features 137 unpainted detailed miniatures, 101 upgraded deluxe tokens, 72 building and unit tiles, and 7 custom engraved D6 dice, providing a high-fidelity, tactile version of the base game.
  • MASTER THE BATTLEFIELD: Send your eager builders to the center board to construct defenses and recruit elite troops; use your upgraded army to launch epic raids and earn victory stars in a refined, highly strategic engine-building system.
  • THE CENTERPIECE OF YOUR GAME NIGHT: Ideal for epic weekend gaming sessions, holiday gifts, or special tournaments; this collector's edition provides a deeply immersive experience perfect for cozy winter evenings or competitive summer meetups.
  • FOR HARDCORE CLANS & HOBBYISTS: A must-have for dedicated Clash of Clans fans and premium board game collectors; perfect for display in home game rooms, local tabletop clubs, or as the highlight of your local hobby events.

3. Goblinstein

Goblinstein pairs the Champion with another unit and uses Lightning Link to create a coordinated threat. Supercell’s August 4, 2026 notes adjusted the Monster’s hitpoints, Doctor damage, and ability damage per second. Royale Updates lists a 48.5% win rate in October—the highest among the eight in that snapshot—but only 1.15% use. That makes Goblinstein an interesting pick to test in a fitting deck, not a settled best-in-game choice.

4. Boss Bandit

Boss Bandit’s Gateway Grenade gives her a distinct ability-led role and can make her a fit for decks built around that kind of pressure. Supercell’s August 2026 notes made Champion abilities single-use rather than cooldown-based, with Boss Bandit explicitly excepted. Royale Updates’ October figures are 45.1% win rate and 3.25% use rate. Those numbers show meaningful use, but do not establish her as the best general-purpose Champion.

Rank #3
Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid: Dark Elixir Board Game Expansion
  • UNLEASH THE POWER OF DARK ELIXIR: Expand your raiding potential with specialized Dark Elixir troops and a new resource management system, allowing for devastating synergies and unstoppable attacks in your Clash of Clans tabletop battles.
  • PREMIUM MINIATURE TROOP SET: Includes 12 detailed, unpainted miniatures featuring Hog Riders, Valkyries, Minions, Lava Hounds, Golems, and Witches, plus 8 X-Bow standees, a center board, building/unit tiles, and 15 Dark Elixir tokens.
  • STRATEGIC MARKETPLACE UPGRADES: Use the new Dark Elixir resource to access a dedicated marketplace of elite units, providing tactical depth and specialized abilities that outmatch standard troops to ensure your raid's success.
  • ENHANCE YOUR EPIC GAME NIGHTS: Perfect for extended gaming sessions, weekend tournaments, or holiday game marathons; this expansion adds complexity and variety that keeps your strategy sessions fresh and exciting year-round.
  • FOR CLASH OF CLANS FANS & STRATEGISTS: A must-have for mobile game enthusiasts and tabletop wargamers; ideal for play at home, in hobby stores, or at gaming clubs to prove your dominance in the ultimate base-raiding challenge.

5. Skeleton King

Soul Summoning makes Skeleton King’s value depend on souls collected, so his impact is tied to how well a deck and its matchups let him build toward the ability. Supercell’s October 2025 rules update says the soul bar resets when a duplicate is placed. Royale Updates lists a 42.8% win rate and 3.07% use rate for October 2026. The snapshot does not establish broad strength or weakness; consider him when his soul-dependent role suits your deck plan.

6. Mighty Miner

Mighty Miner’s lane-change and Explosive Escape identity makes him a specialized choice rather than an automatic fit for every deck. Supercell’s August 4, 2026 notes raised his base damage from 40 to 43. Royale Updates’ October snapshot lists a 45.5% win rate and 2.23% use rate. The data does not settle how well he performs across modes, so weigh his role and ability against what your deck needs.

Rank #4

  • Gift for all ages: A thoughtful and fun choice for kids, teens, and adults alike, perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just bringing people together for a good time.

7. Archer Queen

Archer Queen is a ranged damage option whose Cloaking Cape makes her ability central to her role. Supercell raised her damage from 225 to 232 in its August 4, 2026 balance notes. Royale Updates’ October snapshot lists a 38.4% win rate and 1.48% use rate, both low relative to most of this roster. That is a reason to be cautious about choosing her on general strength alone, not proof that she is poor in every deck or game mode.

8. Monk

Monk’s Pensive Protection gives him a differentiated defensive identity, which may make his fit narrower than that of a more flexible Champion. Royale Updates’ October 2026 snapshot has the lowest listed use rate, 0.83%, and win rate, 36.6%, among the eight. These figures are an imperfect proxy for performance across all modes and skill levels, but they make Monk the hardest general recommendation in this ranking.

Champion rules and recent balance changes

Older advice that Champions never cycle or that only one Champion can be active in a battle is out of date. Supercell’s October 2025 update changed Champions to cycle like other cards, retained a limit of one Champion per deck, and specified that when multiple Champions are active, only the most recently placed Champion has an ability available. Champions go in the Hero Slot or Wild Slot, which Supercell says can also be used for other special card forms.

Supercell Support lists eight Champions and unlock thresholds from 5,500 trophies in Arena 16 through 6,500 trophies in Arena 18. Progression rules can change, so check the current in-game card information before planning around an unlock threshold.

Supercell’s August 4, 2026 balance notes also announced that abilities became single-use rather than cooldown-based, except for Boss Bandit. The same dated notes list the damage and stat adjustments discussed in the individual rankings. They describe that update, not guaranteed current values if a later patch has superseded them.

Which Champion should you use?

  • For the strongest all-around starting point: try Golden Knight, while treating his popularity and specialist-list placement as evidence of a strong option rather than a guarantee of wins.
  • For ranged pressure: compare Little Prince and Archer Queen by how their ability-led roles fit your deck; their October snapshots point in different directions, but are not mode-specific proof.
  • For a paired-unit plan: consider Goblinstein if Lightning Link and the two-unit setup suit your deck.
  • For a specialized ability or matchup: Boss Bandit, Skeleton King, Mighty Miner, and Monk may make sense when their distinct roles match your strategy.

Use the ranking as a starting shortlist, then judge a Champion in the mode and deck you actually play. The October figures come from third parties, and their scope does not establish how any card performs for every player.
