There is no verified “best deck” for Goblin Queen’s Journey, and Supercell announced the mode would end on October 30, 2024. If the mode returns with its original rules, build around goblin cards that charge the Queen’s ability while preserving a win condition and reliable defenses. Supercell’s announcements explain the mechanic and end date, but publish no ranked deck list or performance data.
Can you still play Goblin Queen’s Journey?
Supercell introduced Goblin Queen’s Journey in June 2024 for players at Arena 12 and above. On October 17, 2024, the company announced Goblin Road would end on Wednesday, October 30. The announcement said Baby Goblins would remain in players’ collections but be unavailable “for now”; it does not establish whether Supercell brought the mode back afterward. Check the in-game mode selector or a newer official announcement for current availability.

At launch, the mode appeared through the game-mode toggle alongside Trophy Road and Path of Legends. These launch details describe the 2024 version, not a guarantee of current access or rules. Supercell’s October 17, 2024 update gives the scheduled end date and explains what happened to the mode’s cards.
How the Queen’s ability shaped deck building
In the original rules, playing goblin cards charged the Goblin Queen’s ability. It took 20 elixir worth of goblin plays to charge; playing another goblin card then activated the ability, sending Baby Goblins flying into both lanes. That extra card is part of the cost of using the ability, so the sequence calls for both enough goblins in the deck and enough elixir to play them at a useful moment.

For a return using the same mechanic, evaluate a deck on four practical questions:
- Can it charge the ability? Include enough goblin cards that reaching the 20-elixir requirement is a realistic part of your normal cycle.
- Can it trigger the ability at the right time? You need another goblin card after charging, so consider whether you can afford to play it without abandoning a key defense.
- Can it defend? Goblin synergy does not replace answers to air and ground threats. Keep coverage for both.
- Can it threaten towers without the ability? Retain a dependable win condition; the Queen’s ability should support your plan, not be the only way to deal tower damage.
These are mechanic-based deck-building criteria, not a published Supercell ranking or a tested list.

Why there is no confirmed best deck list
Supercell’s June 17, 2024 launch notes describe the mode and its ability, but they do not compare decks, give matchup results, or report win rates. The later end-of-mode announcement does not supply that evidence either. Naming a single eight-card list as objectively best would therefore overstate what the official material establishes.
The launch post also described four themed arenas: Gold Mines, Mud Pit at 1,000 trophies, Scrap Yard at 2,000, and Ancestral Palace at 3,000. Those are historical progression details from the 2024 mode, not current rules. The same caution applies to launch-era level caps and Evolution-slot unlocks.

Where the mode’s cards went
When announcing Goblin Road’s end, Supercell said several cards would move to Trophy Road at these Arena thresholds:
