Fix 2: Check Windows Update and Device Manager

Fix 4: Repair Windows components with DISM and SFC
DISM and System File Checker repair Windows components. They do not normally replace a missing third-party Canon driver, so use them when other Windows files are also failing or when the Canon installer reports system corruption.
- Right-click Start.
- Select Terminal (Admin) or Command Prompt (Admin).
- Select Yes at the User Account Control prompt.
- Run:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Wait for it to finish.
- Then run:
sfc /scannow
- Restart Windows.
- Try the Canon installer again.
DISM may take time and can appear to pause. Do not close the administrator window while it is running.
If SFC reports that it repaired files, restart and test the printer. If it reports that it could not repair everything, run DISM again, restart, and repeat SFC. If the results remain unchanged and only the Canon application fails, focus on the Canon driver rather than repeatedly repairing Windows.
Manually hunting through system repairs and repeating DISM or SFC without knowing what changed can make diagnosis difficult. Do not copy cnbp_339.dll into System32

Do not use regsvr32 as a repair
Do not run:
regsvr32 cnbp_339.dll
regsvr32 is intended for DLLs that provide registration entry points such as DllRegisterServer. It is not a general-purpose command for making a missing DLL work. A printer-driver DLL may be loaded privately by the Canon driver and may not support COM-style registration.
If you receive an error from regsvr32, that does not prove the file is corrupt. Reinstall the complete driver package instead.
Fix 5: Use System Restore after a recent change

- Press Windows+R.
- Type
