The broad Black Ops 6 and Warzone list contains 63 cards: four Campaign, 23 Multiplayer, 19 Zombies and 17 Warzone, according to Gameranx. Launch-era core-mode guides count 45 because they omit Warzone and differ by one Multiplayer card. Seasonal updates and naming differences mean the live in-game menu is the final authority.
How many Dark Ops challenges are in Black Ops 6?
| Mode | Count in the broad list | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign | 4 | Mission-specific objectives. |
| Multiplayer | 23 in Gameranx; 22 in Prima’s launch-era list | The named requirements below cover the documented objectives. Check the live menu for any additional or renamed card. |
| Zombies | 19 | Survival, quest, loadout, augment and long-term progression goals. |
| Warzone | 17 | Requirements are season-sensitive and should be checked in-game. |
| Total | 63 | Core Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies lists total 45 in launch-era guides. |
Activision describes Calling Card Challenges as covering Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone, with more than 450 Calling Cards available across the game. Dark Ops cards are the hidden subset: the game does not reveal an objective’s text until you complete it.
Campaign Dark Ops challenges
There are four Campaign cards. Mission replays and checkpoint restarts are useful because three objectives are single-run or stealth-sensitive.
#1 Best Overall
- Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower.
- This is signature Black Ops across a cinematic single-player Campaign, a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, and the epic return of Round-Based Zombies.
- The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
- In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
- Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
| Challenge | Requirement | Reliable approach |
|---|---|---|
| Phantom Presence | In Most Wanted, move through the black-site intel center without being detected. | Use the stealth route, avoid unnecessary takedowns and restart the checkpoint immediately after detection. |
| Endless Options | Destroy every SCUD missile in Hunting Season without using C4. | Leave C4 unused and destroy the missiles with the mission’s other weapons, especially the rocket launcher from a safe distance. |
| Missing Persons | In Under the Radar, place five bodies in lockers. | Search the area methodically and move each body before progressing the mission, rather than trying to backtrack later. |
| Separation Anxiety | Complete the Separation Anxiety time trial in one run. | Practice the route, keep momentum through transitions and restart if the run is compromised. Gameranx labels the reward Keneticist; Prima labels it Geneticist, so use the name displayed in your game. |
Multiplayer Dark Ops challenges
Multiplayer cards test kill streaks, medals, equipment precision, finishing moves and weapon progression. The list below groups the documented objectives by the skill they demand.
Kill streaks and medal chains
| Challenge | Requirement | Practical advice |
|---|---|---|
| Frenzy Killer | Earn five rapid kills. | Use a compact objective area and stay close to cover so you can chain encounters without exposing yourself between kills. |
| Mega Killer | Earn six rapid kills. | Build a route through a contested objective and preserve ammunition before starting the chain. |
| Ultra Killer | Earn seven rapid kills. | Choose modes with predictable enemy flow and stop taking low-percentage fights once the streak starts. |
| Chain Killer | Earn more than seven rapid kills. | Pre-position near an objective, reload before the engagement and use cover to break line of sight between targets. |
| Relentless Killer | Get 20 kills without dying. | Play for information and safe trades; a failed attempt is a reason to reset rather than force the next fight. |
| Brutal Killer | Get 25 kills without dying. | Use a dependable weapon and rotate before opponents can predict your position. |
| Nuclear Killer | Get 30 kills without dying to activate a Nuke. | Prioritize survival over speed, keep escape routes open and avoid chasing damaged enemies into unknown rooms. |
| Nuked Out | Earn a Nuke in Free-for-All without Scorestreak support. | Every kill must come from your own gunplay and equipment rather than Scorestreak kills. Play conservatively and protect your lead. |
| Very Nuclear | Earn a Nuke with 25 different weapons; each streak’s kills must come from the weapon used for that streak. | Track weapons externally or with a checklist, and finish a weapon’s streak cleanly before moving to the next one. |
Weapon, map and equipment feats
| Challenge | Requirement | Practical advice |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Birds 1 Stone | Earn a Collateral medal against multiple healthy enemies in a non-Hardcore mode. | Look for two opponents crossing the same lane and use a high-damage weapon that can pass through both targets. |
| Accidentally on Purpose | Kill an enemy with an environmental hazard. | Learn the hazards on the map and bait an opponent into the danger instead of relying on a random interaction. |
| Return to Sender | Kill an enemy by throwing back their Frag grenade. | Watch for the grenade indicator, pick it up immediately and throw it toward the enemy before the fuse expires. |
| Circus Act | Earn a Bankshot medal by bouncing a Combat Axe off a surface to kill an enemy. | Use a wall or other hard surface to create the ricochet angle; practice the throw in a low-risk match. |
| Buzzsaw | Earn 10 Triple Kill medals or better in Hardcore. | Hardcore lowers the time-to-kill, so hold narrow lanes and fire only when several enemies are committed to the same route. |
| Ace! | Earn four Ace medals by eliminating every enemy in individual Search and Destroy rounds. | Clear the opposing team yourself in four separate rounds. Gather information first and avoid exposing your position after the first pick. |
| Go Looooong! | Get a long-range kill with a Combat Axe, a Semtex stick or a Drill Charge stick. | Use a sightline with a known distance and throw when the target is stationary or focused on an objective. |
| Blunt Trauma | Kill an enemy with the direct impact of a Smoke grenade. | Use the grenade’s direct-hit damage at close range; do not rely on the smoke effect or a later environmental kill. |
| Double Trouble | Kill both Gunfight opponents with one shot or one explosion. | Wait until both players overlap or commit to the same doorway, then use a weapon or explosive that can damage both simultaneously. |
Finishing moves and long-term progression
| Challenge | Requirement | Practical advice |
|---|---|---|
| Hit Job | Perform 100 Finishing Moves. | Use flanking routes and stun or distract opponents before starting the execution. |
| Hard Breakup | Perform seven Finishing Moves in one match. | Play a mode with predictable rotations, stay behind the frontline and abandon an execution if another enemy can interrupt it. |
| 100K | Reach 100,000 eliminations. | This is a cumulative grind; play normally and let the total accumulate rather than chasing unsafe kills. |
| Dark Indeed | Earn Dark Matter camouflage on 33 Multiplayer weapons. | Complete weapon-camo progression across 33 weapons, keeping a written checklist so completed weapons are not repeated. |
Gameranx’s all-mode count says Multiplayer has 23 cards, while Prima’s launch list has 22. Because the supplied named requirements account for the launch list and published lists differ, verify the live Dark Ops menu for the remaining or renamed entry instead of assuming an older web checklist is complete.

Zombies Dark Ops challenges
Zombies has 19 documented Dark Ops cards. Some are controlled one-run stunts; others require a long grind or a specific quest setup.
| Challenge | Requirement | How to approach it |
|---|---|---|
| Reaper of the Undead | Kill 1,000,000 Zombies. | A cumulative objective. Keep playing normal matches and let the total build over time. |
| Armed to the Teeth | Equip three Level III Pack-a-Punch, Legendary-rarity weapons, each with an Ammo Mod, while all eight Perks are active. | Plan the Essence and salvage economy before the high-round push, then confirm every weapon, rarity, Ammo Mod and Perk is active before finishing the run. |
| Social Distancing | Reach Round 20 without taking damage. | Use open sightlines, movement and squad cover; avoid accidental hits from close-range enemies, traps and explosives. |
| Strike! | Score 300 while bowling at Liberty Falls. | Complete the bowling interaction repeatedly and aim for a combined score of 300 in the match. |
| Liberated | Complete the Liberty Falls quest in under 30 minutes in Standard Mode. | Use a practiced route, bring a loadout suited to the quest steps and avoid detours that do not advance the objective. |
| Yo Ho Ho | On Terminus, earn 20,000 Essence without being hit while carrying the Cursed Relic. | Coordinate with teammates, clear threats before moving with the relic and bank enough Essence while preserving a no-hit run. |
| Terminal | Complete the Terminus quest after Round 50. | Prepare for the quest before Round 50, then survive the required rounds with a fully upgraded build and a recovery plan. |
| Another Round? | Reach Round 100. | Use a reliable high-round strategy, manage armor and ammunition and avoid unnecessary side objectives late in the run. |
| Good Enough | Reach Round 20 using only the starting loadout, with no Augments, Perks, Ammo Mods or Field Upgrades. | Do not buy or equip any prohibited upgrade. Treat accidental purchases as a failed attempt and restart rather than continuing. |
| Invincible | Reach Round 30 without going down. | Keep an escape route, maintain armor and use a squad role that can revive others without exposing you to a down. |
| Harbinger of Doom | Kill 100 enemies with one Scorestreak. | Save the Scorestreak for a dense spawn and activate it where enemies cannot scatter behind cover. |
| Box Addict | Buy every Mystery Box weapon in one game. | Reserve Essence for repeated Mystery Box purchases and record each weapon so you can identify the final missing item. |
| Sticks N’ Stones | Reach Round 25 solo using only melee weapons, Combat Axes and Melee Macchiato. | Remain solo and avoid prohibited guns, equipment and upgrades. Melee Macchiato and Combat Axes are the permitted exceptions named by the objective. |
| Dark Journey | Earn Nebula camouflage on 33 Zombies weapons. | This is a cumulative weapon-progression grind; maintain a checklist and finish each weapon’s Nebula requirement before switching. |
| Gummed Up | Consume 25 GobbleGums in one match. | Collect and use GobbleGums steadily rather than waiting for the final rounds, when a down or failed purchase can end the attempt. |
| Fatale | Kill two Amalgams with one shot. | Line up both Amalgams and use a high-damage shot that can hit them simultaneously; coordinate positioning with teammates. |
| Kunoichi | During one Aether Shroud activation with Void Sheath equipped, kill three standard Zombies, two Special Zombies and one Elite Zombie. | Prepare all three enemy types before activating Aether Shroud, then secure the required kills during the single activation window. |
| Light ‘Em Up | With Napalm Burst’s Big Game Augment, kill 10 Ignited Elite Zombies in one match. | Equip the specified Augment, apply Napalm Burst to Elite targets and keep enough enemies alive to complete all 10 ignited kills. |
| Well That Was a Waste | Consume Perkaholic and get downed within 10 seconds. | Use Perkaholic only when you are ready to trigger the condition; getting downed outside the 10-second window will not satisfy it. |
Zombies mastery requirement
ONE Esports states that Zombies Dark Ops mastery requires 15 completed Zombies Dark Ops challenges. You do not need all 19. Start with the objectives that match your strengths—quest speed, high rounds, weapon progression or controlled one-run setups—and leave the most restrictive attempts for a coordinated squad.

How to track progress and recover from failed attempts
- Open Barracks.
- Select Challenges.
- Open Dark Ops, then choose Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies or Warzone.
- Use the completed-card list to confirm rewards. For hidden cards, the requirement text may remain undisclosed until the objective is finished, so keep your own checklist for cumulative totals and multi-step attempts.
- If a run violates a condition, stop treating it as a valid attempt and restart from a clean setup. This matters most for no-damage, no-down, starting-loadout, no-C4 and one-run objectives.
For streak and high-round cards, conservative positioning is usually more valuable than a faster attempt. For grind cards, record completed weapons or eliminations. For quest and time-trial cards, practice the route first and use a loadout designed for the exact condition rather than improvising mid-run.
