If Warzone says “not installed” or keeps asking for a missing pack on PS5, start with Activision’s current install route: update the console, then download Call of Duty: Warzone from Game Library > Your Collection. If the add-on is missing or locked, restore licenses; if the download is stuck, check storage, service status and the download queue. A repeated pack prompt after those checks is not explained by Activision’s current setup instructions, so record the pack name and error and contact support rather than repeatedly reinstalling at random.
Install Warzone using Activision’s current PS5 instructions
- Update the console. Activision recommends installing available console updates before beginning a game installation.
- Open the game library. From the PS5 home screen, go to Game Library > Your Collection.
- Choose Call of Duty: Warzone and select Download. This is Activision’s documented PS5 installation route in its Warzone installation instructions, updated 4 February 2026. Activision says Warzone is no longer available to download on PS4 and Xbox One; the steps here are for PS5.
If Warzone opens but its content management screen requests a particular pack, note the exact pack title and error message before attempting another download. Those details help distinguish an absent add-on from a download that has failed or content that the game still does not recognize.
If Warzone or an add-on is missing, locked, or unlocatable
Restore PS5 licenses
On PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses. PlayStation says license restoration does not affect data and may help when a game or add-on cannot be located. Follow PlayStation’s license restoration instructions.
Check the account that has access
Make sure the console is using the account associated with the game or add-on. If the content is paid or accessed through a shared library, verify the relevant ownership or account access; a download prompt by itself does not establish that the currently signed-in account has the entitlement.

If the download will not start or gets stuck
- Check PSN service status. A service disruption can interfere with downloads; consult PlayStation Network service status.
- Confirm free storage. Check that the console has enough space for the download. Pack sizes can vary, so use the size shown for the current download rather than relying on an old figure.
- Retry the queue item. Pause and resume the download. If it remains stuck, cancel or delete the failed queue item and retry the Warzone download from Game Library.
- Check system software and account access. PlayStation’s PS5 game download troubleshooting guide includes these checks alongside service and storage checks.
If the game still repeats the missing-pack prompt
If the download completes but Warzone continues to say that the same pack is missing or “not installed,” the available official Warzone setup guidance does not identify a specific cause or promise a fix for that repeated prompt. Older player reports use similar wording, including add-ons that still displayed “Not Installed” after an attempted installation, but those reports describe past experiences and do not establish a dependable fix for the current game version.
After the ordinary checks above, avoid cycling through large downloads without a clear reason. Contact Activision or PlayStation support with the information below so the issue can be tied to your specific installation:

- PS5 system software and Warzone version, if visible.
- Your region and the account used to access the game.
- The exact pack title, full error wording or code, and whether the download completed.
- The date and time the prompt appeared, plus a screenshot or video.
- The steps you tried and what happened after each one.
Use Safe Mode only after the standard download checks
For persistent PS5 download failures, PlayStation lists Safe Mode > Clear Cache and Rebuild Database as a troubleshooting option. Use PlayStation’s current Safe Mode instructions and follow the on-screen prompts. If the Warzone pack prompt returns afterward, include that result with the support details above.
