COLORFUL announced a refreshed EVOL P15 gaming-laptop lineup on February 12, 2026, with NVIDIA RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs. The important distinction is that the RTX 5060 model has the 15.6-inch QHD 165Hz display, while the RTX 5050 version uses a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz panel.
The documented models are the Carbon Grey EVOL P15 RTX 5060 and the Cloud White EVOL P15 RTX 5050. COLORFUL scheduled the refresh for a Q1 2026 global launch, but the available announcement does not establish a universal MSRP, US availability, or identical specifications in every region.

What COLORFUL announced
The 2026 EVOL P15 is a refresh of COLORFUL’s existing 15-inch gaming-laptop line, not a completely new family. Its major upgrade is the move from earlier RTX 40-series configurations to NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs based on the Blackwell generation.

- EVOL P15 RTX 5060: Carbon Grey chassis, up to an Intel Core i7-14650HX and an 8GB GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.
- EVOL P15 RTX 5050: Cloud White chassis, up to an Intel Core i5-13420H and an 8GB GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU.
These are the documented variants, not necessarily a complete worldwide SKU list. Because COLORFUL uses “up to” wording, a retailer’s actual CPU, memory, storage, and GPU configuration should be checked before purchase.
COLORFUL’s announcement also mentions DLSS 4 support, Windows 11 Home, WPS pre-installation, RGB keyboard lighting, and a two-year warranty. Warranty coverage remains subject to regional terms.
The display difference is the key detail
RTX 5060 EVOL P15: 2560×1440 QHD at 165Hz.
RTX 5050 EVOL P15: 1920×1080 FHD at 144Hz.
Both official product pages list 100% sRGB coverage. That is a color-gamut specification, not a guarantee of high brightness, HDR quality, factory calibration, or professional color accuracy.
Therefore, the headline claim that EVOL P15 laptops debut with RTX 50 GPUs and a QHD 165Hz display applies specifically to the RTX 5060 configuration. It should not be read as saying that every EVOL P15 model has a QHD panel.
EVOL P15 RTX 5060 specifications
According to the official RTX 5060 product page, the higher-end configuration includes:

What the specifications mean for gaming
The RTX 5060 model is the logical choice for buyers who want sharper text and images, more desktop workspace, and QHD gaming in a 15.6-inch format. Its 165Hz panel is also useful for competitive and lighter games when the system can produce sufficiently high frame rates.
However, an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU should not automatically be expected to deliver 165 frames per second at native QHD in demanding modern games. Actual performance will depend heavily on the laptop’s undisclosed GPU power limit, cooling design, game settings, and use of technologies such as upscaling.
Rank #3
- READY FOR ANYTHING - Jump right into the action with Windows 11, an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (up to 70W TGP with Dynamic Boost).
- SWIFT MEMORY AND STORAGE – Multitask faster with 8GB of DDR5-5600MHz memory and speed up loading times with 512GB of PCIe 4.0.
- NEVER MISS A MOMENT – Keep up with the pros thanks to the fast FHD 144Hz display. Adaptive-Sync technology reduces lag, minimizes stuttering, and eliminates visual tearing for ultra-smooth and lifelike gameplay.
- BLOW AWAY THE COMPETITION – The TUF is equipped to handle its high-power CPU with a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans which improves cooling performance without extra noise.
- MILITARY GRADE TOUGHNESS – In order to earn the TUF Gaming name, these laptops must successfully survive a rigorous battery of MIL-STD-810H* tests. Test devices are exposed to drops, vibration, humidity, and extreme temperatures to ensure reliability.
The RTX 5050 model’s FHD panel is easier to drive and is a better match for esports and less demanding games. FHD also reduces the rendering workload compared with QHD, but buyers give up the sharper image and additional workspace of the RTX 5060 configuration.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe two GPUs should not be compared using desktop graphics-card assumptions. Laptop performance varies substantially with power limits and thermal implementation, neither of which COLORFUL has clearly published in the available material.
What remains unconfirmed
The official launch information does not establish several details that matter when comparing gaming laptops:
- GPU TGP or power limits for either model.
- Battery capacity and expected battery life.
- Weight, thickness, and power-adapter wattage.
- Display brightness, response time, HDR capability, and calibration.
- Whether the refreshed models support G-SYNC, a MUX switch, or Advanced Optimus.
- Full port selection and wireless-chip model.
- Webcam resolution and microphone specifications.
- Exact memory and storage upgrade paths.
- Independent benchmark, noise, and thermal results.
The earlier EVOL P15 announced in 2023 used an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU and a QHD 165Hz display with NVIDIA G-SYNC support. Those facts should not be carried over to the 2026 refresh without confirmation. The previous model’s battery, ports, dimensions, display response time, GPU wattage, and cooling behavior may also differ.

Availability may vary by country, and “up to” specifications may not match every retailer listing. Before buying, verify the exact model number, installed RAM and SSD, display resolution, GPU TGP, local warranty terms, authorized-seller status, return policy, and service availability.
COLORFUL did run a Philippines promotion offering PHP 750 cashback on eligible EVOL P15 purchases made from April 21 through May 31, 2026. The promotion deadline was June 15, 2026, so it is not evidence of a current offer or of US pricing and availability.
Which EVOL P15 should you consider?
Choose the RTX 5060 model if:
- You specifically want a QHD display on a 15.6-inch gaming laptop.
- You value the higher listed CPU tier and additional GPU performance headroom.
- You play a mix of competitive games, modern releases, and creative applications.
- You are willing to wait for confirmed pricing and TGP information before judging its value.
Choose the RTX 5050 model if:
- FHD gaming is sufficient for your games and budget.
- You mainly play esports or less demanding titles.
- The regional price is meaningfully lower than the RTX 5060 version.
- You prefer the Cloud White design and do not need QHD resolution.
Neither model is an obvious fit for buyers who require a confirmed US warranty, a large battery, a bright HDR display, more than 16GB of memory out of the box, or verified high-power RTX 5060 performance. Those requirements need to be checked against a specific regional listing.
Bottom line
The refreshed COLORFUL EVOL P15 lineup is real and brings RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs to the series. The RTX 5060 Carbon Grey model is the QHD 165Hz version; the RTX 5050 Cloud White model is FHD 144Hz. The RTX 5060 configuration looks more compelling for QHD gaming and demanding workloads, while the RTX 5050 is the more budget-oriented FHD option. Final value depends on regional price, GPU power limits, upgradeability, and warranty coverage that COLORFUL has not fully established.
