GTA BOOM reported on October 6, 2026, that the company confirmed its involvement in an Instagram post; the post and the mural’s current status have not been independently verified here.
Where is the reported GTA 6 mural?
GTA BOOM places the work-in-progress mural at Wythe Avenue and North 11th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and says it depicts Jason and Lucia. The report also notes that a Grand Theft Auto V mural was at the same corner in 2013. These location and chronology details come from GTA BOOM’s account; they do not establish that the current mural is complete.
What connects Colossal Media to Rockstar?
According to GTA BOOM, Colossal’s Instagram post linked the reported job to a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas campaign in 2004, which the company described as its first campaign for its first client, Rockstar Games. GTA BOOM attributed this statement to Colossal: “Twenty-two years ago, we painted our first campaign with our very first client, @rockstargames,” followed by, “Two decades later, we’re back at it for GTA 6. From Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in 2004 to GTA 6 in 2026, tradition continues.” The 22-year figure is the difference between those calendar years; the statement describes two campaigns, not proof of an uninterrupted contract.
What does the mural announcement mean for GTA 6?
The reported announcement concerns Colossal’s marketing work. It does not confirm additional murals, a new trailer, a public event, or a change to the game. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and gives November 19, 2026 as the scheduled release date. That is the current schedule, not a guarantee that the date cannot change.
