The Exiled Lands has 10 teleport obelisks. You must approach and attune each one before it appears as a destination in a Map Room. Their locations run from The Dregs in D/4 to the Temple of Frost in D/13 and the Mounds of the Dead in B/11. Isle of Siptah is separate: it has 13 Acheronian lore obelisks, concentrated around the Ruins of X’chotl, and the Exiled Lands Map Room network should not be treated as a Siptah travel system.

What an obelisk does in Conan Exiles
An Exiled Lands obelisk is a black stone surrounded by purple fog. The fog causes Corruption while you are nearby. A Performer thrall can cleanse that Corruption after you leave the area or return to a safe location.

Finding an obelisk is only the first step. Stand close to it and press the normal interact button to attune it. After attunement, that obelisk becomes a selectable destination in a Map Room. An unattuned obelisk is not available for Map Room travel, even if you have physically discovered its area.
The grid reference is the fastest way to narrow a search. Use the column and row together, then confirm the landmark in the location name. The grid is a navigation aid rather than a precise in-game waypoint, so the nearby landmark matters when several features occupy the same square.

The commands are coordinate references for administrators, not a replacement for ordinary exploration. A command can place an administrator at the documented position, but a normal player still has to reach and attune the obelisk through gameplay before using it from a Map Room.

Start with the grid square
Open the world map and locate the stated column and row. For example, D/4 identifies the area containing The Dregs, while B/11 points toward the Mounds of the Dead. Treat the square as a search zone, then use the named landmark to choose the approach.
Mark the destination before travelling
The in-game map supports custom markers. Place one in the target grid square and label it with the obelisk name. A marker is especially useful when planning a multi-stop trip or when you have discovered an area but have not yet completed attunement.
Use coordinate information on PC
On PC, ToggleDebugHUD or ToggleDebugHUD 2 exposes coordinate information. Compare your displayed position with the documented teleport coordinates when you need a more exact check. Console players can rely on the grid and landmark descriptions instead; the grid is the consistent reference supplied for every Exiled Lands obelisk.
Confirm the object at the destination
The correct object is a black stone with purple fog around it. If you reach a landmark but do not see that combination, check the neighboring terrain within the same grid square rather than assuming the location is missing. Fog-induced Corruption is another confirmation that you are close to an obelisk.

A practical route for attuning all 10
No official route order is prescribed. The following sequence groups the map by region so that you can reduce backtracking. It is a planning suggestion based on the spread of the locations, not a requirement for unlocking the network.
- Southern and western sweep: begin at The Dregs (D/4), continue to the Unnamed City obelisk near The Archives (D/6), then travel south of Shattered Springs (C/8).
- Central and eastern sweep: continue to The Sinkhole (H/6), then Upper Staging Area (K/8), and finish this portion at Dagon’s Eye (N/6).
- Northern and far-northeastern sweep: visit The Black Keep between Ruins of Xullan and the Bridge of the Betrayer (F/11), then the Mounds of the Dead (B/11), the Temple of Frost (D/13), and the obelisk southwest of the Path of the Penitent (G/14).
You can reverse the order or split the trip across multiple sessions. The important completion check is attunement at each stone, not the order in which you visit the squares.
Step-by-step: attune an Exiled Lands obelisk
- Choose a target. Pick a location from the table and place a custom map marker in its grid square.
- Travel to the landmark. Use the grid first, then follow the location description—for example, “south of Shattered Springs” or “between Ruins of Xullan and the Bridge of the Betrayer.”
- Identify the obelisk. Look for the black stone and its surrounding purple fog. The fog can apply Corruption when you are close.
- Approach carefully. Enter the fog only long enough to reach interaction range. If Corruption becomes a problem, withdraw and use a Performer thrall to cleanse it.
- Interact with the stone. Press the platform’s normal interact button. The interaction attunes the obelisk to your character.
- Verify the unlock. After attunement, check a Map Room. The obelisk should now be available as a destination.
- Record completion. Remove or relabel your map marker so you do not spend another expedition searching for the same stone.
If the destination does not appear in a Map Room, the most likely explanation is that the obelisk was visited but not successfully interacted with. Return to the stone and complete the interaction rather than relying on proximity alone.
Location-by-location navigation notes
The Dregs — D/4
This is the southern and western starting point in the suggested sweep. Search the D/4 area around The Dregs, using the landmark name to distinguish the obelisk from other structures in the square.
Unnamed City, near The Archives — D/6
The D/6 obelisk is identified by its position near The Archives in the Unnamed City. The landmark wording is important because the Unnamed City covers a broad area; use the Archives as the final local reference.
South of Shattered Springs — C/8
From the C/8 grid, travel to the area south of Shattered Springs. The directional description is part of the location name, so do not stop at the springs themselves if the obelisk is not visible.
Rank #3
- Explore a vast world: explore a giant world, from the Burning desert in the south to the snow-capped mountains in the north. Discover ancient cultures, ruins, and dungeons
- Survive: stay warm, cool yourself down, drink and eat, weather scouring sandstorms, prevent your mind from being corrupted when exploring dark dungeons, and battle vicious monsters to stay alive
- Build: harvest resources to craft tools and weapons, then build anything from a Small home to entire cities. Build walls, traps, elevators, and more

- Play together or alone: play alone locally or fight for survival and dominance in persistent multiplayer on public servers. You can also host your own server and invite others to join you
The Sinkhole — H/6
The Sinkhole sits in H/6 and works well as a central transition between the western locations and the eastern stops. Use the Sinkhole landmark to orient your final approach.
Upper Staging Area — K/8
Search K/8 for the Upper Staging Area obelisk. This is one of the central/eastern stops in the suggested regional route.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsDagon’s Eye — N/6
Dagon’s Eye is the easternmost grid reference in the Exiled Lands list at N/6. The name is the local landmark to confirm after you reach the square.
The Black Keep — F/11
The Black Keep obelisk is specifically between Ruins of Xullan and the Bridge of the Betrayer. In F/11, use those two landmarks to avoid searching the entire grid indiscriminately.
Mounds of the Dead — B/11
The B/11 obelisk is at the Mounds of the Dead. Its far-northern position makes it a natural part of the northern sweep after the Black Keep.
Temple of Frost — D/13
In D/13, use the Temple of Frost as the destination landmark. This is one of the highest listed Exiled Lands grid rows and may be easier to combine with the other northern stops.
Rank #4
- Explore a giant world, from the burning desert in the South to the snow-capped mountains in the North
- stay warm, cool yourself down, drink and eat, weather scouring sandstorms, prevent your mind from being corrupted when exploring dark dungeons, and battle vicious monsters to stay alive
- harvest resources to craft tools and weapons, then build anything from a small home to entire cities piece by piece
Southwest of Path of the Penitent — G/14
The final listed location is in G/14, southwest of the Path of the Penitent. The southwest qualifier matters: search around the path’s southwestern side rather than treating the path itself as the exact obelisk location.
Exiled Lands obelisks versus Isle of Siptah Acheronian obelisks
Isle of Siptah is a separate Conan Exiles expansion map with its own obelisk terminology and objectives. Its documented Acheronian Obelisk page lists 13 lore obelisks, most in or near the Ruins of X’chotl. These are not simply the 10 Exiled Lands teleport obelisks moved to another map.
| Comparison point | Exiled Lands | Isle of Siptah |
|---|---|---|
| Map | Exiled Lands | Isle of Siptah expansion island |
| Object type | Teleport obelisk | Acheronian lore obelisk |
| Number documented | 10 | 13 |
| Primary player outcome | Attunement unlocks a Map Room destination | Exploration and lore completion |
| Navigation aid | Grid reference, landmark, in-game marker and (on PC) debug coordinates | Siptah-specific interactive map and grid anchors |
| Map Room assumption | Relevant after attunement | Do not assume the Exiled Lands network operates here |
A Gamer Guides reference specifically states that the Map Room does not work on Isle of Siptah. Therefore, instructions for attuning Exiled Lands teleport obelisks should not be presented as a universal Siptah travel solution.
Known Isle of Siptah Acheronian obelisk anchors
The Siptah obelisks are concentrated around the Ruins of X’chotl, with documented grid anchors including B10, C10, C9, D9/D10, E10, I9 and N/O8. The chapter-marked Siptah guide covering all 13 uses that spread to organize the locations. Use a Siptah-specific interactive map to verify the remaining markers before setting out; the Exiled Lands table above is not a substitute.
| Acheronian obelisk | Documented grid | Admin teleport command |
|---|---|---|
| Acheronian Obelisk 1 | C10 | TeleportPlayer -357556 37019 -16820 |
| Acheronian Obelisk 2 | C10 | TeleportPlayer -338415 38809 -11609 |
| Acheronian Obelisk 12 | D9/D10 | TeleportPlayer -298930 48460 -11619 |
| Acheronian Obelisk 13 | B10 | TeleportPlayer -364056 43090 -19458 |
The available documentation gives exact command coordinates for these four entries and grid anchors for the broader group. It does not establish a complete command-coordinate list for all 13 in the material summarized here, so the unlisted Siptah entries should be located with the interactive Siptah map rather than guessed from Exiled Lands coordinates.
Common problems and fixes
The obelisk is nearby, but it is not in the Map Room
Discovery is not attunement. Return to the black stone, move into interaction range and press the interact button. Then check the Map Room again.

Corruption is accumulating
The purple fog causes Corruption at close range. Limit the time spent inside the fog and have a Performer thrall cleanse the effect afterward.
The grid marker leads to the wrong place
A grid square is an area reference, not a doorstep coordinate. Re-read the landmark qualifier: “near The Archives,” “south of Shattered Springs,” “between Ruins of Xullan and the Bridge of the Betrayer,” or “southwest of Path of the Penitent” each narrows the search.
The admin command does not place you exactly where expected
Check the command spelling and all three signed coordinate values. The values in the tables are documented admin teleport coordinates; they are not ordinary map-grid labels. On PC, enable the debug HUD to compare your actual position with the target.
A Siptah guide seems to conflict with Exiled Lands instructions
First confirm the map. Exiled Lands has 10 teleport obelisks tied to Map Room destinations, while Siptah has 13 Acheronian lore obelisks. Use the map-specific objective and navigation aid instead of combining the two lists.
Completion checklist
- Mark all 10 Exiled Lands grid references on your in-game map.
- Use each named landmark to refine the search inside its square.
- Approach the black stone surrounded by purple fog.
- Interact with every obelisk; merely passing nearby does not complete attunement.
- Manage Corruption with a Performer thrall when necessary.
- Confirm each attuned obelisk appears as a Map Room destination.
- For Siptah, switch to the 13-entry Acheronian list and a Siptah-specific interactive map.
Map markers, teleport rules and location data can change after major Funcom updates. If a marker or destination behaves differently after a patch, verify the current map and interaction behavior before assuming the obelisk has been removed.
