The official FAQ describes more than 90 contracts; the PlayStation listing instead says more than 100 contract missions. These may reflect differences in update timing or counting, and should not be collapsed into a single exact total.

Official launch materials describe a revised mission system, a day-and-night cycle, refueling and maintenance, vehicle and yard upgrades, rentals, and changes to earthmoving and driving physics. Together these systems frame the loop: take jobs, use or rent machinery, and manage a growing construction operation. The descriptions establish the feature set, not how closely the simulation reproduces real equipment or site work.
Is Construction Simulator worth playing?
It is a reasonable fit if the satisfaction of operating construction vehicles and steadily working through contracts sounds more appealing than fast action or a tightly scripted story. The two campaigns offer a clear structure, while the machinery is the central attraction. Solo players can approach that progression on their own; people who prefer shared tasks have cooperative multiplayer, discussed below.

Can you play Construction Simulator with friends?
Yes. The official FAQ says online cooperative play supports up to four players. PlayStation’s listing also describes cross-platform multiplayer and voice chat. Because compatibility can depend on platform and version, confirm that the players in your group can join the same session before buying for co-op.
Which platform and edition should you choose?
The official FAQ names PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles. It also describes cross-generation multiplayer on consoles, Xbox Smart Delivery, and a free PS4-to-PS5 upgrade.
