Prerequisites and where to start
Rescue both courier brothers by completing My Missing Courier and My Missing Brother before accepting the rasher from Tipp & Pill in Bellhart. The delivery is one of five ingredients for the Great Taste of Pharloom wish; the destination is Loyal Mergwin in the Choral Chambers. Courier’s Rasher durability and delivery rules
The Hollow Knight Wiki reports that the rasher has eight durability segments and loses one every 47 seconds. With full durability and no extra damage, that gives a maximum clean-run window of 376 seconds, or 6 minutes 16 seconds. Taking damage or a hard impact can remove durability; a hit that deals two damage removes two segments. These are version-sensitive game mechanics, so check the current game version if details have changed.

Route options
The Hollow Knight Wiki lists three route families. The most practical choice depends on your map access, unlocked shortcuts, and familiarity with the rooms. The Silksong Wiki walkthrough recommends the Blasted Steps route, but the sources do not provide measured completion times proving it is fastest for every save.

How to prepare and deliver the rasher
- Meet the prerequisites and choose a route that matches your opened shortcuts and map access.
- Open route levers and doors before accepting the delivery.
- Learn the path first. The Hollow Knight Wiki advises traversing it backwards to clear enemies and practice; avoid resting at a bench during that preparation.
- Accept the rasher from Tipp & Pill in Bellhart, then travel to Loyal Mergwin in the Choral Chambers without using fast travel.
- Avoid fights, hard landings, and wall or ceiling collisions. Keep to the route and avoid unnecessary detours.
Silkspeed Anklets can help with speed, but greater speed can make wall and hazard collisions more likely. The Hollow Knight Wiki recommends Faydown Cloak, while the Silksong Wiki route page also recommends Clawline. PC Gamer recommends Flea Juice alongside Silkspeed Anklets and says the main-menu map pauses the timer; treat that as PC Gamer’s guidance rather than a universal guarantee if the game has changed in a later patch. What happens if the rasher breaks?
If the parcel breaks, return to Tipp & Pill to receive another rasher and retry, according to the Hollow Knight Wiki. Use the retry to adjust your route or preparation rather than attempting the same run with the same unresolved hazards.

Reward context
Courier’s Rasher is only one ingredient in the five-item Great Taste of Pharloom wish. PC Gamer reports that after all ingredients are delivered and Loyal Mergwin prepares the meal, you can take Pale Oil from the container beside him. The guide reports an additional cost of 500 Rosaries if this is your second needle upgrade. This reward belongs to completing the full wish, not to the rasher delivery by itself.
