To deliver Courier’s Rasher, first complete My Missing Courier and My Missing Brother. Then collect the Rasher from Tipp and Pill in Bellhart and carry it to Loyal Mergwin’s dining room in the Choral Chambers. A commonly documented route goes through Shellwood, Blasted Steps, and Grand Gate; the best choice for you depends on which shortcuts and movement abilities you have unlocked.
How to unlock and collect Courier’s Rasher
- Complete the My Missing Courier and My Missing Brother wishes. These are the stated prerequisites for the Rasher delivery, according to Nintendo Life.
- Speak with Tipp and Pill in Bellhart to take the Rasher delivery. Game8 identifies them as the quest givers.
- Carry the Rasher to Loyal Mergwin’s dining room in the Choral Chambers.
Clawline and Double Jump are recommended for making the route described below more manageable, but the guides do not establish them as universal formal requirements.
Recommended route: Bellhart through Blasted Steps
A documented route runs from Bellhart through Shellwood, Blasted Steps, and Grand Gate to the Choral Chambers. Game8 and Nintendo Life both describe this general path.
Prepare at Bellhart
Before accepting the delivery, rest at the Bellhart bench so you start ready to move. Nintendo Life recommends equipping Silkspeed Anklets. PC Gamer also recommends Flea Juice from The Lost Fleas quest for extra speed; these are guide suggestions, not guarantees of a particular completion time.

Cross Shellwood and climb Blasted Steps
Move quickly through Shellwood. If you have Clawline, use it to cross over water rather than taking a slower, more exposed path. At Blasted Steps, use cages as shortcuts where available; Clawline and Double Jump can help bypass some hazards.
Pass Grand Gate and reach the dining room
Use open paths through the Citadel. Take care around the saw after the broken wall in Grand Gate, then avoid enemies in the Choral Chambers and enter Mergwin’s dining room carefully.

Delivery timer and what can cost time
The delivery is made on foot, not by Bellway fast travel, according to Nintendo Life. GamesRadar+ reports a five-minute limit. Nintendo Life says taking hits or striking walls reduces freshness time, so avoid unnecessary fights and collisions. The guides do not establish a consistent allowance for mistakes.
PC Gamer says opening the map pauses the timer. Treat this as guide-reported advice rather than a guaranteed mechanic across every situation.

Choosing between alternate paths
The Shellwood–Blasted Steps path is a well-documented option, not a universally fastest route. The Hollow Knight Wiki describes alternatives through Greymoor, Sinner’s Road, and Exhaust Organ, or through Wisp Thicket and Underworks.
Choose based on your own progress and comfort with the hazards. In particular, weigh how much vertical climbing a path requires, its enemy and hazard density, the shortcuts you have opened, and whether you have movement tools such as Clawline or Double Jump. A route that is shorter on paper may be less reliable if it includes obstacles you cannot bypass easily.

What completing Great Taste of Pharloom rewards
Courier’s Rasher is one of five ingredients in the Great Taste of Pharloom wish. According to PC Gamer, after delivering all five ingredients, Mergwin opens a container containing Pale Oil, which can be used to upgrade the Needle. The same guide says a second Needle upgrade also costs 500 Rosaries, if that upgrade applies to your progression.
