To solve the Ethereal Pathway puzzle in Crimson Desert, move the floating blue cube onto the empty right pedestal, use Axiom Force to position the power cell and Force Palm to insert it, then activate the central mechanism with Force Palm. Collect the glowing item above the stairs to finish the Abyss restoration challenge.
1. Move the floating cube to open the floor
In the garden room, use Axiom Force to lift the floating blue cube and place it on the empty right pedestal. Leave the other cube where it is. The floor barrier should clear once one cube rests on each pedestal.

- If the barrier remains, check that the floating cube is on the empty pedestal and the other cube is still on its starting pedestal.
2. Learn Force Palm and place the power cell
Drop into the newly accessible pit. On the right wall, find the power cell and watch the blue ghost demonstration to learn Force Palm. Use Axiom Force to move the cell into position in front of the marked wall slot, then use Force Palm to punch it into the slot.
3. Activate the circular mechanism
Climb back out of the pit and reach the center of the large circular cog or mechanism on the wall. Use Force Palm there to activate it.

4. Collect the reward
Go up the stairs and collect the glowing item above. Walkthroughs identify the reward as an Abyss Artifact. What to check if you get stuck
- The floor barrier is still up: Confirm that one cube is on each pedestal, with the floating cube on the empty right pedestal.
- The cell will not enter the slot: First align it with Axiom Force, then strike it with Force Palm.
- The mechanism does not activate: Get to the center of the circular mechanism and use Force Palm.
Do not confuse Ethereal Pathway with Root’s End
Root’s End is a separate puzzle reached from Ethereal Pathway. Its instructions cover moving platforms, a golden grate, a laser tunnel, power blocks, and a final button; those steps are not part of this solution. See PowerPyx’s Root’s End guide if you have moved on to that puzzle.
