To complete the Eternal Forest sequence in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, obtain the Ancient Orb Echo, place it on six forest pedestals, then return to the stone tablet and follow the newly opened northern path. This story section becomes available after the Eldin, Lanayru, and Faron Temples and their three Goddess Sanctions.
When the Eternal Forest story sequence unlocks
You can enter the Eternal Forest earlier, but the story puzzle described here is not available until the main quest The Prime Energy and Null begins. First clear Eldin Temple, Lanayru Temple, and Faron Temple, receiving Din’s, Nayru’s, and Farore’s Sanctions.
After the final sanction, the story reveals that Null is pursuing the Prime Energy and sends Zelda back to Hyrule Castle. Speak with the king in the throne room; he directs you to the Eternal Forest.
How to reach the forest clearing
The Eternal Forest is northwest of Hyrule Castle Town and west of Northern Sanctuary. Warp to a nearby Waypoint if you have activated one. Otherwise, travel to the Northern Sanctuary Waypoint and head west. Inside the forest, follow the circular route north through the fog until you reach a clearing with the captain and guards.

After the scene, examine the pedestal and stone tablet to learn the Ancient Orb Echo. You will use this Echo at six pedestals scattered around the forest.
Where to find all six pedestals
The large slate gives a triangular layout clue. Starting at the tablet and following the forest route, look for the pedestals in these locations:

Choosing a route in the Stilled Ancient Ruins Rift
At the first major branch, choose either the water-themed or desert-themed route. The paths rejoin before the icy section, and no reward advantage for either choice is established.

|---|---|---|
| Water-themed | Bodies of water, fish enemies, and Biri | Rejoins the desert route before the icy section |
| Desert-themed | Sand piranha and other desert enemies | Rejoins the water route before the icy section |
