Guide descriptions differ on whether to call this the basement, lowest level, or ground floor, but point to the same central, web-covered area.

How do I solve the Arboria Castle strongbox?
- Locate the mechanism with five vertical wheels or cylinders.
- Starting with the wheels in their top/reset positions, turn them from left to right this many times: 3, 4, 5, 4, 2.
- Once all five are set, activate the switch on the right.
The sequence and switch action are reported by both The Games Wiki and Pywel. Adjust each wheel individually; the right-side switch is used after setting the full sequence.
What reward does the strongbox give?
Guides identify the reward as an Equipment Manual. The detailed section of the IGN guide mirrored at bacol.todayz.workers.dev uses that name, but its summary table says “Experiment Manual,” so the reward label is not fully consistent across that page.

Is this the same as the Arboria Castle factory puzzle?
No. The strongbox is a five-cylinder alignment puzzle. The factory machinery puzzle is separate; PC Gamer’s factory-puzzle guide discusses quest requirements for that machinery, not this strongbox. The available guide information does not establish that completing the factory quest is required to open the strongbox.
A video by Dombucha Gaming shows the strongbox in a context involving the Queen Spider, but that alone does not establish defeating the boss as a universal prerequisite.
