For Crimson Desert’s Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop quest, align the three rings on the Ancient Generator first. Then reconnect the disconnected kiln’s conduit, reassemble and secure the dismantled kiln, and put five Electric Balls into the remaining kiln’s sockets. Once all three repairs register, return to Grimnir.
Confirm you have the right quest
This is the Kiln Repair at the Kilnden Workshop sequence, also listed as “Kilnden Kiln Repair.” A game database places it in Chapter 4 and connects it with the Mysterious Pot storyline; the objective is to help restore the workshop kilns and examine the pots. See the quest database for its listing.

Activate the Ancient Generator first
- Use the crank to select one of the generator’s three symbol rings. The selected ring glows.
- Turn the mechanism until that ring’s symbols match the symbols on the generator body. The aligned symbols turn blue.
- Repeat for the other two rings until all three are aligned and the generator activates.
Complete this central puzzle before working on the individual kilns. A player discussion describes confusion after attempting kiln repairs first, but that report is anecdotal and does not establish a widespread bug: Steam community discussion.
Repair the three kilns
The walkthroughs differ slightly in the order they list the kiln tasks. After activating the generator, complete each of the three objectives below and check that the quest tracker registers each repair.

Reconnect the disconnected kiln
- Go behind the kiln and find the disconnected pipeline or conduit.
- Reconnect it, then operate the kiln’s handle to activate it.
Rebuild the dismantled kiln
- Use Axiom Force to lift the broken pieces and align them on the kiln’s base.
- Climb onto the assembled structure and use Force Palm to lock the pieces in place.
- Operate the handle to activate the kiln.
Fuel the remaining kiln with Electric Balls
- Use Axiom Force to carry five glowing Electric Balls to the kiln.
- Place one ball in each of its sockets.
- Activate the kiln once all five are in place.

Return to Grimnir
After the quest tracker shows all three repair objectives complete, speak with Grimnir at the workshop to finish the sequence.

If a repair does not register
- Check that the Ancient Generator is fully activated by aligning all three rings.
- For the dismantled kiln, make sure you used Force Palm after positioning the pieces; placing them alone does not complete the assembly.
- For the fuel kiln, confirm that all five Electric Balls are seated in the sockets before activating it.
- Use the quest tracker to identify which repair objective remains incomplete, then revisit that kiln and repeat its steps.
The detailed steps above come from third-party walkthroughs rather than official developer documentation. The quest database lists version 2.0.0 and an update date of September 30, 2026; if the game receives a later patch, the puzzle behavior may change.
