The official version 7.0 update description identifies Cryo Traveler as an enabler of Stellar Glimmer after the Traveler resonates with Cryo. That conversion is the central reason to include the character. Cryo Traveler is not simply another source of Cryo damage; the character determines which Stellar reaction your roster can access and whether the team should be organized around field time or support uptime.

Stellar Swirl: maximize repeated Anemo triggers

Odette and Qiqi’s support functions

This team is most coherent when your account can keep Electro application available, your Traveler has enough survivability to stay active, and the encounter does not force constant target changes.
Stellar Swirl team: Yumemizuki Mizuki, Faruzan, Odette and Cryo Traveler
Mizuki as the repeated-Swirl driver
The guide chooses Yumemizuki Mizuki because Stellar Swirl rewards frequent Swirl triggers. Mizuki takes the field to create the repeated Anemo interactions that build the vortex toward detonation. When to choose a support set
Heart of the Furnace or Tenacity of the Millelith is recommended for the support version. These choices make more sense when Cryo Traveler spends less time attacking and more time applying Cryo or contributing team utility to Mizuki’s Swirl cycle.

The important decision is assigning Cryo Traveler to the field role that matches the reaction’s trigger pattern, then filling the remaining slots with the application, support and sustain your roster can actually maintain.

- Establish the reaction element. In the Conduct team, make sure Electro is available before Cryo Traveler begins the active sequence. In the Swirl team, make sure Cryo is present before Mizuki’s repeated Swirl actions.
- Preserve the correct driver. Keep Cryo Traveler active for Conduct; keep Mizuki active for Swirl. Excessive swapping interrupts the pattern each reaction is designed to reward.
- Watch the battlefield. Reposition when enemies leave the field or vortex area, and refresh support effects when their actual durations end.
- Adapt after observing one full cycle. If the Conduct field is not building consistently, improve Electro uptime or reduce unnecessary swaps. If the Swirl vortex receives too few triggers, improve enemy grouping, interruption resistance or the timing of Cryo application.
Why there is no proven universal damage winner
The available sources do not include a controlled test that holds characters, constellations, weapons, artifact quality, enemy defenses, target count, rotation length and player execution constant.
