It does not have a reliably documented universal menu for infinite health, all weapons, or god mode. The instructions below separate PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 behavior and identify which details come from an official manual and which are contributor-submitted tips.
What counts as a cheat in Crysis 2?

That distinction matters. An unlock earned by XP is not a cheat code, and a hidden Easter egg is not a developer-supported difficulty bypass. No reliable source establishes a complete, universal sequence for unlimited ammunition, invulnerability, or every weapon in the campaign.

- From the campaign menu, start another game.
- Choose either the same difficulty or a different difficulty.
- Your previously earned suit upgrades are reported to carry into the new run.
The entry does not require a particular ending or a specific difficulty. It is also not confirmed by the 2011 EA manual, so treat it as a reported feature rather than an officially documented cheat. If the option or retained upgrades do not appear in your edition, the safest explanation is a version or save-state difference rather than a missing button code. Start the hidden game during the credits
According to the same GameFAQs listing, the credits contain a small playable Easter egg. Begin entering the sequence once the credits are running; it is not a code entered at the title screen.
PlayStation 3 inputs
- Press X or R2 five times during the credits.
- Use Square to fire.
- Use X to thrust.
Xbox 360 inputs
- Press A or RT five times during the credits.
- Use X to fire.
- Use A to thrust.
These are platform-specific controls, not interchangeable PlayStation and Xbox notation. The tip is contributor-submitted, so a timing issue, a different release build, or entering the presses before the credits are active can make it appear nonfunctional. It should be understood as a credits Easter egg, not a campaign weapon or invincibility code.
Find the PC “Dead Man Walking” disco-room secret
GameFAQs also lists a PC-only campaign secret under the name “Dead Man Walking.” The reported route is:

- Take the elevator in the relevant sequence.
- At the end of the hall, interact with the control panel repeatedly.
- Continue until the panel’s light turns red.
- Return toward the elevators.
- Press the button beside another elevator.
The entry says this reveals two dancing soldiers beneath a disco ball. It is a hidden scene, not a shortcut, item unlock, or combat advantage. Because the instructions come from a community trivia entry rather than an official walkthrough, the exact trigger can vary with the PC build; do not treat failure to activate it as evidence that your campaign is corrupted.
Earn weapons and suit modules in multiplayer
The official Xbox 360 manual describes progression rather than cheat codes. It says that match XP tracks progress and unlocks new and enhanced weapons and suit modules: “XP serves to both track your progress and unlock new and enhanced weapons and suit modules.” You gain XP from several parts of a match, not just eliminations.

The manual describes suit modules in Armor, Stealth, and Power groups. Modules can be upgraded through three levels, so the progression loop is to play matches, use the suit and weapons, earn the relevant XP, and spend the resulting unlocks in the loadout system. The manual gives a maximum match size of up to 12 fighters. These are descriptions of the original multiplayer design; the manual does not establish that the original online services remain available now.
Why kills alone are a poor “unlock code” strategy
Because match score, bonuses, fighting, and objectives all feed XP, a player who ignores objectives can progress more slowly than one who contributes to the mission while also fighting. The documented system therefore rewards the behavior the mode asks for instead of providing a hidden all-unlocks command. Power, Armor, and Stealth XP likewise reflect how you use the Nanosuit, so switching suit abilities can be more useful than repeating one combat action.

Redeem launch-era bonus codes (historical instructions)
EA documented a MyCrysis route for promotional bonus content in 2011. It is important not to confuse this with a permanent cheat system: old codes may be exhausted, the account service may no longer accept redemptions, and the instructions describe the launch-era interface.
- Enter the multiplayer section.
- Choose My Crysis.
- Select the option to redeem a code.
- Follow the browser window opened for the redemption process and submit the promotional code.
EA’s March 29, 2011 support article documents this flow in its historical Crysis 2 key and code solutions. It also discusses a launch-era key error, but that troubleshooting was tied to the 2011 service and should not be treated as a current recovery procedure. If a code is rejected today, there is no evidence here that changing a campaign setting or entering a different button sequence will fix it.
PC console tweaks: what the old advice actually promises
A Steam news archive entry dated March 22, 2011 says that enabling the console with the ~ key could expose “more than 47 graphic and gameplay tweaks.” That is a historical description of the potential settings, not a guarantee that every command works on every PC edition. The archive links to third-party forum guidance, and no current command-by-command test is established here.

Common mistakes and sensible recovery steps
Expecting a universal cheat menu
The documented material does not provide one. Use New Game Plus, Easter eggs, XP progression, historical codes, or PC variables according to the platform and goal instead of searching for an unverified god-mode sequence.
Using the wrong controller inputs
The credits minigame uses different primary and action buttons on each console. Check the platform-specific list above and begin after the credits have started.
Calling an XP unlock a cheat
Weapons, weapon levels, and suit modules are earned through match XP, suit-specific XP, and milestones. If an item is unavailable, confirm that you have actually earned the relevant progression and that the original multiplayer system is functioning; entering a campaign code will not substitute for rank progress.
Assuming a 2011 service is still live
MyCrysis redemption instructions and multiplayer details describe the launch-era environment. They explain how the system was designed, not whether accounts, servers, or promotional codes can still be used in 2026.

Applying PC advice to a console
The tilde-key console discussion is PC-specific. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players should not expect those variables or commands to exist on their platforms.
What was included in the launch editions?
This is not required for any cheat or Easter egg, but it explains why some old code lists mention special-edition content. EA and Crytek announced a Limited Edition with bonus XP, a SCAR Hologram Decoy attachment, a SCAR weapon skin, and a Platinum Dog Tag. The Nano Edition added the Limited Edition contents, an 11-inch (28-centimeter) Prophet statue, an art book, and a Nanosuit-inspired backpack; its 2010 announcement listed launch pricing of $149.99, £119.99, and €129.99 and described the stock as extremely limited. Those figures and availability were launch-era details, not current prices or a requirement for any of the secrets in this guide. The announcement is archived by EA and Crytek.
