Counter-Strike 2’s “Call to Arms” update brought three headline changes: more flexible weapon-sticker placement, the return of Arms Race, and new Kilowatt cosmetic items. Beebom reported the update on February 8, 2024; its details describe the launch-period changes, not a guarantee of CS2’s current map rotation or present-day behavior.
How sticker placement changed
Before the update, weapon stickers were restricted to four designated locations, according to Beebom’s February 8, 2024 report. The update let players place stickers more freely across the visible side of a weapon, rotate them, and apply up to five stickers to a weapon. Valve’s Steam page for the update used the line, “Now’s your chance to create the perfect craft,” as quoted by Beebom.
This is an in-game customization feature: no physical sticker or accessory is needed. The report describes the feature as introduced with the update; it does not establish how every weapon or current game version handles placement today.
Arms Race returned to CS2
The update brought back Arms Race, a mode in which players advance through a sequence of weapons by getting kills. A knife kill determines the winner, according to the report. At launch, Beebom named Baggage and Shoots as the mode’s two maps. That is a historical launch-period selection, not confirmation of the current map rotation.

What the Kilowatt content added
Beebom reported that the Kilowatt content included the Kukri Knife and 17 weapon skins. The report also identified Olympus as the Zeus X27’s first skin. These are digital CS2 items; the reported count is from Beebom’s account of the update and was not independently confirmed here from Valve’s update listing.
Valve’s “A Call To Arms” Steam page and the Counter-Strike updates listing are the official links associated with the update. Their available text does not establish current map availability, item prices, or whether every launch detail remains unchanged.
