It is a historical, version-specific list—not an official CD Projekt Red reference or a guarantee that the commands work on current game builds.
What “Console commands 2.01” refers to
The r/cyberpunkgame post was published on October 8, 2023. Its author describes the commands as having worked “so far” on Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.01. That wording records the author’s claim; it does not independently verify each command or establish compatibility with later versions.

The post is not a CD Projekt Red command reference. CD Projekt Red separately published official Patch 2.01 notes, but those patch notes and the community command list serve different purposes.
How Cyber Engine Tweaks fits in
The commands are presented in the context of Cyber Engine Tweaks, a modding framework for scripting Cyberpunk 2077 with Lua. CET includes an in-game console and a TweakDB editor. Its console can run Lua scripts or engine functions, as described in the CET project overview and the CET command guide.

The Reddit post is therefore useful as a snapshot of community-shared commands for a particular game update, rather than as a standalone game feature or an official support resource. The list does not establish a need for any physical product: CET and its references are software and digital documentation.

The “2.01” label alone cannot answer that. CET’s command guide says many commands changed with Update 2.0 and directs readers to its most up-to-date command list. Subsequent game and mod updates also matter: the CET release history documents later compatibility work, including Update 2.2, while CD Projekt Red published official notes for Update 2.21 and Update 2.3. A command reported for 2.01 should not be treated as tested on those later versions.

For an installed game, compare the game version with the CET release and consult the current CET command references before relying on a command. CD Projekt Red’s modding troubleshooting guide notes that core mod makers update their mods for the latest game version and may not support older versions.

Using the list safely and accurately
- Check version compatibility: Confirm that your installed game build is compatible with the CET release you plan to use.
- Use current command documentation: Prefer the current CET command guide over assuming a historical Reddit example still applies.
- Preserve capitalization: The CET command guide states, “The commands are case-sensitive!” Enter command names with the same capitalization shown in the reference.
- Read the post as community guidance: “Worked so far” reflects the author’s report, not independent testing or a promise of support from CD Projekt Red.
