If you want to loop prerecorded videos on YouTube around the clock, start with a service built for continuous YouTube streams rather than assuming a general video platform is the cheapest or simplest fit. StreamNeo is the most focused option in this comparison: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a first day free. Dacast may suit a broader professional hosting and delivery workflow; Gyre, YtLive Stream, and StreamAdda are other candidates to compare against your channel count, storage, and output needs.
Which Dacast alternative fits a nonstop YouTube loop?
For prerecorded videos sent continuously to YouTube, compare services that explicitly support cloud-based looping. StreamNeo is #1 for this use case because it keeps the stream running from the cloud, accepts any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a first day free. Its product information is self-published by StreamNeo, and its service is YouTube-focused; see StreamNeo.
Dacast is a broader professional video platform. Its feature set includes encoder ingest, hosted live video and video-on-demand, delivery, access controls, monetization, and simulcasting. That breadth can matter if you need a hosted video operation beyond a single prerecorded YouTube loop. The Dacast pages describe streaming to YouTube and other destinations, but the available information does not establish a reliable current India checkout total. Dacast’s platform overview and multistreaming page describe those workflows.
These are different ways to supply a YouTube stream, not interchangeable promises of failure-proof uptime. YouTube documents encoder-based streaming and continuous streams; a cloud loop service operates the send side remotely, while a DIY encoder leaves that responsibility with you. YouTube’s encoder guidance explains the platform’s streaming options.

Compare the alternatives by workflow and plan limits
The prices below are provider-published page information, not independently verified checkout totals. Currency, taxes, and final India payment terms should be checked at purchase. StreamNeo’s product details and prices are self-published; its comparison page says it was updated 19 September 2026.
| Option | What it supports | Published price information | Best reason to consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded videos to YouTube with a stream key; the provider describes recovery if YouTube drops the stream. | Daily $0.99 per day · Weekly $2.99 per week · Monthly $9.99 per month · 6 months $49.99 for 6 months · Yearly $89.99 a year | Focused YouTube loop setup, any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, with no computer required to remain on. See the provider’s comparison page. |
| Gyre | Cloud streaming of prerecorded content to YouTube and other listed destinations; plans vary by concurrent streams, storage, resolution, playlists, and scheduler. | Its page lists USD pricing, including $49 monthly for one HD stream on Start. Check currency and Indian checkout treatment. | Consider it if multiple destinations, playlist management, or scheduling are important; compare stream count and included storage, not just the entry price. Gyre |
| YtLive Stream | Cloud broadcasting with playlist and loop organization, YouTube OAuth or generic RTMP setup; its Pro plan lists automatic recovery failovers. | Published monthly tiers: ₹499 Starter, ₹999 Pro, and ₹1,999 Business. Starter lists one active stream and a 720p limit; Pro lists two active streams, 1080p, and failovers. | Compare the active-stream and channel allowances, storage, output limit, and whether recovery is included in the plan you select. Its 99.9% uptime figure is a vendor statement, not an independent measurement. YtLive Stream |
| StreamAdda | Upload prerecorded videos, set a YouTube stream key, and run a continuous loop; its listed plans include one slot. | Published options include ₹49 per day, ₹299 per week, and ₹899 per month. Its monthly Business plan lists one slot, 4 GB storage, and 1080p output. | A budget-oriented option to examine for one loop; confirm storage, resolution, and plan terms at purchase. StreamAdda |
| Dacast | RTMP/SRT encoder ingest, live and VOD hosting, CDN delivery, access controls, monetization, and simulcasting. | The reviewed page describes tiered plans; a reliable current India checkout total is not stated. | Consider it when the broader hosted-video and delivery features matter, rather than choosing on loop price alone. Dacast |
| GoLiveIndia | Its product page lists prerecorded lives and cloud-running options; published tiers show maximum live durations ranging from one hour to 24 hours. | INR monthly tiers are displayed; specific prices are not stated here. | A 24-hour maximum is not evidence of an indefinitely continuous stream, so treat it as a possible scheduled or shorter-run option unless the provider confirms otherwise. GoLiveIndia |
| DIY computer and encoder | YouTube supports encoder-based streaming; a local computer can send the stream directly. Dacast also lists OBS, Wirecast, and vMix as encoders usable with its service. | Hardware and cloud-compute costs depend on the setup; a complete comparable India bill is not established. | Gives you control, but you operate the computer, connection, monitoring, restarts, and stream-key security. |
How to choose for an Indian YouTube channel
- Confirm the source. For prerecorded bhajans, kirtan, Gurbani, music, or other recordings in a loop, assess services that explicitly support continuous prerecorded streaming. A live camera or produced event needs an encoder-ingest workflow instead.
- Count destinations and concurrent streams. One YouTube channel is not the same requirement as multiple channels or a simulcast to other social destinations. Check whether a plan counts slots, channels, or simultaneously active streams.
- Compare the complete plan. Put price beside storage, resolution and frame-rate limits, playlist and scheduling tools, file limits, support, and billing/cancellation terms. A low entry price can be a poor fit if it omits the capacity you need.
- Choose who operates the encoder. Cloud hosting removes your home computer from the continuous-send path, but you still upload media, configure the destination, and handle account or content issues. DIY is only cheaper overall if you can maintain the computer, internet connection, and recovery process.
- Check reliability terms if the stream is business-critical. Ask about contractual service-level commitments, incident history, and recovery behavior. Vendor descriptions of automatic recovery or uptime are not independent proof that a stream cannot fail.
For India-based creators, verify the payment method and final checkout terms for the provider and plan you choose. StreamNeo accepts UPI and cards in India; its page prices are displayed for the viewer’s region.

What a DIY encoder requires
A local encoder is a valid option when you want direct control and are prepared to keep the sending setup operational. YouTube’s official guidance covers encoder livestreams; the exact interface labels can vary as YouTube Studio changes. See YouTube’s current encoder setup guide.
- In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live stream and choose the encoder workflow. Set the stream’s visibility and other details before you start.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube Studio into your encoder. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to that stream.
- Configure the encoder for the source media and the ingest settings YouTube recommends for your chosen resolution and frame rate. Confirm the output is compatible before relying on a long run.
- Start the encoder, then check YouTube Studio’s preview and stream health before making the stream public. Keep an eye on the local computer, internet connection, and encoder process throughout the run.
- For a loop, use an encoder workflow that can repeat the prerecorded source and restart or reconnect after an interruption. Test the whole chain before scheduling a long continuous broadcast.
YouTube’s page supports encoder streaming but the reviewed material does not establish one universal bitrate, resolution, or keyframe setting for every source, encoder, and network. Use the current YouTube guidance for the exact output profile rather than copying a single setting across different video formats. A local setup also needs a reliable upload connection, power, monitoring, and a plan for restarting the encoder if it stops.

Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded video from the cloud, so nothing at home has to stay on; it streams the file as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and it describes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo only streams to YouTube. Start the free trial at https://app.streamneo.com/register.
Copyright, reused content, and stream-key risks
A continuous broadcast does not change your rights obligations. Use recordings you own or are licensed to stream, including music, performances, artwork, and any third-party footage. A live format does not make copyrighted material safe to rebroadcast. YouTube’s review or enforcement can interrupt a stream or affect the channel, so check the rights for the full playlist before you schedule it.

Also distinguish copyright permission from monetization eligibility: permission to use a recording does not itself guarantee that a channel or repeated livestream will qualify for monetization. Review YouTube’s current channel and live-stream policies, and avoid assuming that looping material will be treated as original simply because it is continuously broadcast. Keep the stream key private, and replace it in YouTube Studio and the encoder or cloud service if you believe it has been exposed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Common problems and practical fixes
- YouTube does not receive a signal: check that the encoder or service uses the correct stream URL and current stream key, that the intended live event is active, and that the sending process is running.
- The stream disconnects repeatedly: inspect the sending device’s power and internet stability if using DIY; for a cloud provider, check its status and support guidance, then ask what recovery behavior applies to your plan. Recovery is not a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime.
- Video quality is unstable or the stream health warning appears: verify that your chosen output profile matches YouTube’s current guidance and that the network can sustain the send. If using an encoder, test at the intended resolution and frame rate before the long broadcast.
- A loop stops or repeats incorrectly: confirm the playlist order and repeat behavior in the encoder or service, then run a short test to catch file or playlist issues before going live for an extended period.
- The stream is interrupted by a rights or account issue: review YouTube Studio notifications and the permissions for every item in the playlist. Changing encoders or hosting providers does not resolve a content-rights restriction.
- A continuous-service plan may not actually be continuous: check stated maximum duration, active-stream limit, and restart behavior. GoLiveIndia’s listed duration ceiling reaches 24 hours, which does not establish indefinite running.
