Release order also gives the recurring organizations and relationships room to develop naturally. The first film establishes the reboot, the second supplies its immediate continuation, and later entries can refer back to that foundation. If your time is limited, Skyfall can pair with Casino Royale as a two-film sample based on critics’ scores. That is a sampling strategy, not a replacement for the complete continuity; the two intervening and subsequent chapters still contain developments and resolutions.
4. Spectre (2015)
Spectre is the fourth entry and the most explicit mythology-building installment in the sequence. Put Quantum of Solace next. It is not a separate reboot or an anthology episode; it is the immediate continuation. Jumping straight to Skyfall trades away part of that progression, even though Skyfall is comparatively self-contained.
