What is Dark Craft?
Dark Craft is advertised as an open-world, grim dark-fantasy MMO for Windows PC. The official Steam listing describes a world of forests, abandoned villages, castles, dungeons, ruins and monsters, populated by other players. Its combat is built around timing, stamina management and anticipating opponents. Those details are the publisher’s description of a forthcoming game, not a report of independently tested gameplay.
The store says players can explore alone or in groups, hunt bosses, join guilds and fight other players. It also advertises loot for victory and the loss of some loot on defeat. Steam lists MMO, online co-op and online PvP among the game’s features.
Why is it compared with Dark Souls and Minecraft?
The Souls comparison
Steam itself calls the combat “Souls-style,” tying the comparison to deliberate encounters, timing and stamina management. That describes an advertised influence or feel; it does not establish a connection to the Dark Souls series.

The Minecraft comparison
The Minecraft half comes from Windows Central’s December 8, 2025 preview, which used the comparison for Dark Craft’s blocky visual style. Steam does not make that comparison. Dark Craft is not presented as an official Minecraft crossover.
What features does the store advertise?
Exploration, co-op and PvP
The listing pitches solo exploration alongside group play, boss hunts, guilds and player-versus-player encounters. Steam also flags online interaction and in-game chat. Because the game has not launched, these are advertised features rather than confirmed live systems.

Game-master events
Dark Craft’s store page promotes a game-master system in which team members may command enemies, stage ambushes, appear as world bosses, issue unique quests or trigger events. When does Dark Craft come out, and what platforms are confirmed?
As of October 4, 2026, Steam gives the release date as “To be announced” and says Dark Craft is not yet available there. The listing presents a Windows PC version; the sources available do not confirm other platforms. Neither the store page nor the cited preview establishes a launch window.
