Dark Craft is an unreleased free-to-play MMO from Take Top Entertainment, advertised as a grim fantasy world with Souls-style combat and blocky visuals that have drawn comparisons to Minecraft. Dark Craft is a game in development by Take Top Entertainment. Its Steam listing classifies it as an action, adventure, massively multiplayer RPG and marks it free-to-play. The store description calls it a mix of Souls-like combat and an MMO.
The Minecraft comparison refers to the game’s blocky visual style, as described in Windows Central’s December 8, 2025 coverage. The available sources do not establish an official connection to either Minecraft or Dark Souls.
What gameplay and features are advertised?

Steam describes combat built around timing, stamina management, reading opponents and tactical resource use. Its listing advertises PvE and possible PvP clashes, with loot at stake: winning can bring rewards, while defeat can cost some loot.

In a Steam Community discussion, the developer account said on December 8, 2025 that equipped gear would be safe on death while some gathered resources could be dropped. That is a dated development statement, not a confirmed final rule; the team said in a November 30, 2025 post that major mechanics and other parts of the game could still change.
A grim fantasy world for solo and group play
The store description promises forests, abandoned villages, ancient castles and dungeons populated by monsters and bosses, with rare artifacts to find. It advertises both solo play and group activities, including guilds. These are planned features described by the developer, not independently verified systems.

Game masters who can intervene
One distinctive advertised feature is a game-master system. Team members may influence sessions by commanding enemies, setting ambushes, appearing as world bosses, issuing quests or triggering events. The listing does not establish how often this would happen or how it would work in a live game.
Is Dark Craft released? What platforms are confirmed?
No. The Steam page currently says “To be announced” for the release date and that the game is not yet available on Steam. Windows Central reported on December 8, 2025 that a release date had not been announced and availability beyond PC was unknown at that time. Notebookcheck’s December 4, 2025 report, updated December 5, mentioned late 2026 or 2027 early access only as speculation, not a confirmed schedule.

What is confirmed—and what remains uncertain?
The current public information is primarily a store description and dated developer comments. Notebookcheck reported on December 4, 2025, updated December 5, that gameplay footage was not available then and that the announcement trailer was cinematic. That is a historical observation, not confirmation of the game’s current footage status. The available evidence does not verify how the advertised combat, game-master events, PvP or monetization will work in a released game.
