The CheatBook entry titled Dark Souls II Trainer (+7 Options) lists nine effects, not seven: unlimited health, unlimited stamina, one-hit kill, easy kill, weapon durability, unlimited items, adding Souls, no poison, and a frozen timer. Its note limits the tool to the original Dark Souls II version v1.06. The page does not explain the count mismatch, identify a publisher, establish file safety, or confirm compatibility with another executable or edition.
What the listing is—and what it is not
CheatBook describes a trainer as “programs that allow you to alter the way the game works so that you could cheat.” In practical terms, that describes a separate utility intended to change game behavior while the game is running, rather than an ordinary in-game setting or a published game mode. The quoted definition is CheatBook’s general description, not a technical specification for this particular file.

The page is a catalog entry. It supplies a title, a version note and a list of named effects, but it does not provide independent testing, a cryptographic hash, a verified publisher identity, a dated compatibility matrix, or evidence that a download remains available. Treat every capability below as a label appearing on the page, not as a demonstrated result.
Why “+7 Options” conflicts with the list
The heading says “+7 Options,” while the entry names nine effects. No explanation says whether two items are aliases, whether the title is old, or whether the number refers to a subset of the list. The discrepancy should therefore be reported rather than silently corrected.

| Effect named by the entry | What is established | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Unlimited health | The label appears in the effect list. | Activation method, duration, limits and reliability are not documented. |
| Unlimited stamina | The label appears in the effect list. | The affected actions, timing and compatibility are not documented. |
| One hit kill | The label appears in the effect list. | Whether it applies to every enemy, every attack or a particular mode is not documented. |
| Easy kill | The label appears in the effect list. | The distinction from “one hit kill” and its actual behavior are not explained. |
| Weapon durability | The label appears in the effect list. | It is unclear whether durability is frozen, restored or otherwise modified. |
| Unlimited items | The label appears in the effect list. | Item types, inventory limits and persistence are not documented. |
| Add xxx Souls | The label appears in the effect list. | The value represented by “xxx,” the input process and any cap are not stated. |
| No poison | The label appears in the effect list. | Resistance, removal of an existing status or immunity to other effects is not clarified. |
| Freeze timer | The label appears in the effect list. | The timer involved and the situations in which it operates are not identified. |
Because “one hit kill” and “easy kill” are both listed without definitions, counting them as separate options is the most transparent reading of the page. It still does not prove that the utility contains nine working toggles.
Version and edition limits
The entry’s only explicit compatibility statement is: “Note: This cheat tool is for the original version v1.06 of the game Dark Souls II.” That is narrower than a general claim that it works with every PC release. The page does not establish support for a different patch, a remastered or enhanced edition, a modified executable, or a current installation.
| Reader’s installation | What the page establishes | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Original game, executable identified as v1.06 | This is the only configuration explicitly named. | Potentially within the stated scope, subject to file verification. |
| Original game on another patch | No compatibility statement is provided. | Unconfirmed; do not assume the trainer will load or behave correctly. |
| Enhanced, remastered or otherwise different edition | No edition-specific support is provided. | Unconfirmed and potentially incompatible. |
| Modified executable or community overhaul | The listing says nothing about modifications. | Unconfirmed. |
Before considering any trainer, identify the exact edition shown by your launcher or installation files and record the executable’s version. If it does not match the stated original v1.06 target, the responsible conclusion is “compatibility unknown,” not that the tool is necessarily broken.

CheatBook identifies Dark Souls II as an action role-playing game developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It names From Software as developer and Namco Bandai Games as publisher outside Japan. These are descriptions reported by the listing at CheatBook’s Dark Souls II trainer page; they are not a current support matrix for the trainer itself.
The trainer entry is framed around a Windows PC game. Nothing on the page indicates that a Windows utility can operate on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions. A console owner should not interpret the platform names in the game description as evidence of console-trainer support.

How to assess the file before running anything
The page does not establish that a file is safe, authentic, current or still hosted. Use a verification process that keeps those questions separate from the feature list.
- Confirm the target. Write down the game edition and executable version. Compare them with the listing’s original-v1.06 scope.
- Identify the publisher and host. A catalog page is not proof of who created a binary. Look for a clearly identified developer and an official distribution channel; if ownership cannot be established, treat the file as unverified.
- Check integrity information. Prefer a published cryptographic hash or a signed release. Without one, you cannot independently prove that the file obtained is the one described.
- Scan before execution. Use current security software and inspect the archive contents. A clean scan is useful evidence, but it is not a guarantee of safety.
- Protect your saves. Back up save data separately and keep the original copy untouched. Do not use an unverified utility on the only copy of progress you care about.
- Isolate the test. If you proceed, test with a disposable save and note the game’s behavior before enabling any option. Avoid treating a successful launch as proof that every listed effect works.
- Stop on unexpected behavior. Crashes, altered files, unexplained network activity, missing saves or inconsistent values are reasons to close the utility, restore the clean game state and investigate rather than repeatedly retrying.
These precautions do not certify a particular download. They are a way to reduce risk when the catalog entry supplies no integrity or provenance evidence.

What to verify about each option
The effect names are too brief to answer the questions a player needs before use. Ask the following for any claimed toggle, and require documentation from the file’s verified publisher rather than inferring an answer from the label.
- Scope: Does the option affect the player character, enemies, inventory, timers or only a particular area?
- Activation: Is there a documented key, button or interface, and does it show whether a toggle is on?
- Persistence: Does the change last only while the utility is active, or can it alter saved data?
- Limits: Are there caps, cooldowns or conditions under which the effect is ignored?
- Recovery: Is there a documented way to return values to their normal state?
This is especially important for “Add xxx Souls,” where the amount is not specified, and for the two kill-related labels, whose relationship is not defined. “Weapon durability,” “unlimited items” and “freeze timer” likewise need operational details that the listing does not provide.

The utility will not start
Recheck the operating-system requirements and the game executable’s edition and version. A failure to launch does not demonstrate malware or incompatibility by itself, and repeatedly downloading unknown copies does not solve the provenance problem. Use only a build whose publisher and integrity can be checked.

The game starts but no option works
Confirm that the trainer is attached to the intended process and that the game matches the original v1.06 target. Since the page gives no key map or activation instructions, an absent response cannot be diagnosed from the listing alone. Record the exact build and option behavior for the file’s documented support channel.
The game crashes or the save changes
Exit the utility, restore the clean executable and recover the backed-up save. Do not continue experimenting with the affected save until you know whether the problem came from a version mismatch, a damaged file or the utility itself.
You are using a different edition
Stop treating the entry as applicable. The page contains no evidence for that edition, so seek edition-specific documentation from a verifiable publisher instead of forcing the original-v1.06 tool to work.
What can responsibly be concluded
The reliable takeaway is limited but clear: CheatBook lists nine named effects under a “+7 Options” heading and explicitly targets the original Dark Souls II v1.06. It does not reconcile the count, document option behavior, identify a verified file publisher, or prove current compatibility and safety. Readers can use the page as a record of the labels, not as certification that a particular trainer download will work.
For the complete wording and the version note, consult the CheatBook listing and independently verify any file before execution.
