The documented Dead Estate infinite-money exploit is no longer a verified working cheat. It used the Double Slurp Cup together with Bloodthirst, and the developers recorded a fix in the Good Night update on October 28, 2024. Treat that combination as a patched historical exploit, not as a current farming method.
For money that is supported by the official game information, kill monsters and bosses, break vases that contain leeches, and spend the proceeds in Cordelia’s shop (or Roselia’s shop when you play as Cordelia) and in Cybil’s shop. Some items alter how much money you earn, either positively or negatively, so your build can change the result of an otherwise identical run.

What the Dead Estate infinite-money glitch involved
The named exploit depended on an interaction between two specific items: Double Slurp Cup and Bloodthirst. The official update history identifies that pairing as a way to generate infinite money and lists it among the fixes in the Good Night update dated October 28, 2024.

That wording matters because it establishes a historical exploit, not a permanent cheat code. A video, forum post, or save file made before the update can still show the behavior, but it does not prove that an up-to-date game will reproduce it. The available official information also does not establish whether another infinite-money exploit exists now or whether a particular platform version behaves differently.

Why old instructions may appear convincing
Older guides often describe a reproducible sequence and show a rapidly increasing balance. Such material can remain accurate for the unpatched build on which it was recorded. Once the underlying interaction is fixed, however, the same item names may simply produce normal behavior. If a guide does not state its game version or update date, you cannot use it to establish that the trick still works.
How to check whether a claimed cheat is current
If you encounter a new video or post promising unlimited money, test the claim as a version-specific report rather than assuming it is a universal cheat. Use this checklist:
- Identify your build. Note the platform and whether the game has installed the Good Night update. The documented fix is dated October 28, 2024.
- Record the exact requirements. Write down every item, character, room condition, and purchase involved in the claim. A vague “works with the cup” description is not enough to reproduce or evaluate it.
- Separate balance changes from generation. A run may produce more money because an item changes earnings; that is different from a loop that creates money without a corresponding kill or vase.
- Check persistence. A displayed number that disappears after changing rooms, restarting a run, or reopening the game is not the same as money actually available in a shop.
- Compare with the official update history. If the claim uses Double Slurp Cup and Bloodthirst, it is describing the interaction that developers say they fixed, so it should be treated as historical unless a later official notice says otherwise.
Do not infer that an exploit exists merely because a balance appears unusually high. A reliable claim needs a stated version, repeatable conditions, and money that remains spendable. None of those details are established for a newer, separate exploit in the available information.

The official Dead Estate wiki identifies three ordinary sources: monsters, bosses, and vases containing leeches. These methods work as the foundation of a money route because they are tied to normal room and encounter completion rather than to an item interaction that may be removed in a patch.

Kill monsters during a normal run
Every combat room is also a potential money opportunity. Clear monsters instead of rushing past the encounter when your immediate goal is to build spending power. The method is straightforward:
- Enter a room and identify the monsters that must be defeated.
- Clear the encounter using your normal weapons, movement, and defensive habits.
- Collect the money awarded after the room is safe.
- Keep a running mental or written total if you are testing whether an item changes your earnings.
This approach does not require a special character or a particular shop. It also gives you a clean baseline: if a money-modifying item is equipped, compare the result with what you normally earn under similar conditions rather than calling every increase an exploit.
Defeat bosses
Boss victories are another official source of money. Treat the boss encounter as part of the run’s income plan, but do not assume that every boss pays the same amount; the available information confirms the source, not a payout table. If you are evaluating an item that changes earnings, note the boss, your item set, and the amount received so that you do not mix results from different conditions.

Break vases that contain leeches
Vases with leeches in them can yield money when broken. This gives you a second task during exploration: inspect breakable objects and destroy the ones known to contain leeches. The official description does not provide a universal room map or a guaranteed count, so regard vase income as an opportunity within a run rather than as a fixed payout.

A practical vase routine is:
- Look for breakable vases while moving through rooms.
- Break those containing leeches when it is safe to do so.
- Collect the resulting money before leaving the area.
- Keep vase earnings separate from combat earnings when comparing item effects.
Where your money is spent
Money is used in the game’s shops. The official wiki names Cordelia’s shop and Cybil’s shop. When you are playing as Cordelia, the shop is identified as Roselia’s shop instead. This character-specific naming is important when following a guide: a reference to Cordelia’s shop may be describing the same spending role under a different name for that run.
| Run context | Shop named in the official information |
|---|---|
| General shop reference | Cordelia’s shop |
| When playing as Cordelia | Roselia’s shop |
| Additional spending location | Cybil’s shop |
The available information does not provide a complete inventory, fixed prices, or a schedule for either shop, so a guide should not promise that a certain amount of money guarantees a particular purchase. Plan to spend only after checking what your current run offers.
How money-changing items affect a run
Some items change the amount of money earned, and the effect can be positive or negative. That means two otherwise similar runs can end with different balances even when they defeat the same kinds of enemies or break the same type of vase. The item effect is a modifier to normal income; it is not automatically an infinite-money glitch.
Use a simple comparison test
- Run a short, repeatable section without the money-changing item and note the income from monsters, bosses, or leech-filled vases.
- Repeat a comparable section with the item equipped.
- Keep the character, route, and source of money as similar as possible.
- Compare the totals and record whether the item increased or decreased earnings.
This test avoids a common mistake: attributing a larger balance to a cheat when the documented explanation is simply an item that improves earnings. The reverse is also useful. If an item lowers income, removing it may improve your spending budget even though your combat performance has not changed.

Build around the purpose of the run
- Shopping run: Favor choices that improve or preserve income when your immediate objective is to afford something in Cordelia’s, Roselia’s, or Cybil’s shop.
- Combat-first run: Do not keep an income penalty merely because it is associated with an old exploit guide. The Double Slurp Cup and Bloodthirst interaction was fixed as an exploit; it is not a reason to assume every item combination is profitable.
- Testing run: Change one money-related variable at a time so you can distinguish an item effect from ordinary differences in rooms, monsters, bosses, or vases.
Common mistakes when searching for cheats
Following pre-patch instructions on a current game
The most important failure mode is using instructions recorded before October 28, 2024 and expecting the same result after the Good Night update. The item names can be identical while the interaction has been removed.
Calling normal item bonuses a glitch
An item that increases earnings can make a run feel unusually lucrative, but the official information explicitly allows for items that change money earned in either direction. A bonus tied to ordinary play is not evidence of unlimited generation.
Assuming all platforms share one build
No platform-by-platform behavior is established here. If a claim appears to work on one version, label it with that platform and update state rather than presenting it as a universal result.

Money has value because it can be spent in the named shops. A test that reports a large number but never confirms that the balance can be used in a shop is incomplete. Check the balance at the point where you intend to buy something.

A practical money route without exploits
For a repeatable, patch-safe approach, combine the three documented income sources and keep your records clear:
- Start a normal run and decide whether the objective is a purchase, an item-effect test, or general progression.
- Clear monster encounters and collect the money they award.
- Break vases that contain leeches when you encounter them safely.
- Defeat the boss and record that income separately from room rewards.
- Check whether your current character routes you to Cordelia’s shop, Roselia’s shop, or Cybil’s shop.
- Before buying, account for any item that increases or decreases money earned.
- If a guide claims infinite money, stop and verify its version instead of changing your route around an exploit that the developers already fixed.
This route is deliberately conservative: it uses only the earning and spending systems identified by the official game information. It remains useful even when patches change individual item interactions because it does not depend on the Double Slurp Cup and Bloodthirst exploit.
What is and is not confirmed
Confirmed facts are limited but clear: the historical infinite-money exploit used Double Slurp Cup and Bloodthirst; the Good Night update lists a fix dated October 28, 2024; monsters, bosses, and leech-filled vases provide ordinary money; money is spent in Cordelia’s or Roselia’s shop and Cybil’s shop; and some items modify earnings positively or negatively.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhat remains unconfirmed is equally important. There is no established current replacement exploit in the available official information, no verified platform-specific exception, and no complete list of item multipliers, shop prices, or boss payouts. A trustworthy guide should keep those boundaries visible instead of filling them with guesses.
