What “+13 Options” means
The number in the title comes from the original community release, not from a permanent specification. FLiNG, identified in the WeMod Community post as the trainer author, announced the official discussion topic on April 21, 2023. The initial release contained 13 options. Subsequent updates added more modifications and recorded compatibility changes.

They describe intended controls; they are not independent test results, and the page does not establish that every toggle behaves identically on every game build.

Several labels overlap in purpose but are not interchangeable. For example, Unlimited Health concerns the health resource, while God Mode / Ignore Hits suggests immunity to incoming hits; the listing itself does not provide a test showing whether every damage source is ignored. Likewise, Set Player Speed and Set Movement Speed are separate controls on the page, so changing one should not be assumed to change the other.

- Open the Dead Island 2 page in WeMod. Select the installed game entry rather than assuming that a community post or an old executable matches your copy.
- Launch the game through WeMod. The vendor’s instructions say to open the game through the app so it can identify the installed version.
- Wait until Dead Island 2 has loaded. The listing’s workflow places toggling after the game loads.
- Check the support indicator. WeMod says it detects the installed game version and tells you whether that version is supported.
- Toggle only the modifications you want. Start with one option, observe the result, and then add others. This makes it easier to identify which setting caused an unexpected result, without treating that process as a compatibility test.
- Turn options off before changing builds or sessions. The page does not promise that settings persist safely through a game update, so recheck support after an update rather than carrying forward an old configuration.
If the app reports that your installed version is unsupported, WeMod’s FAQ says you can try the trainer or request an update. That statement describes the vendor’s support workflow; it is not a promise that the request will be fulfilled immediately or that an unsupported build will function correctly.

Choosing options by the kind of playthrough you want
There is one principal current trainer listing in the cited vendor source, so the meaningful choices are combinations of effects rather than independently verified competing products. The following approach uses the labels as decision categories.
Exploration with less survival pressure
God Mode / Ignore Hits, Unlimited Health, Unlimited Stamina and Stealth Mode target incoming danger, stamina limits and enemy awareness. Using several at once can remove most of the resource and positioning decisions that normally define exploration. If you want to keep some tension, choose a single defensive control instead of enabling every survival option.
Resource-heavy crafting and upgrades
Edit Money, Unlimited Consumables & Parts, Items Don’t Decrease and No Crafting Requirements address different bottlenecks. Money changes currency, parts affect crafting materials, Items Don’t Decrease changes consumption, and No Crafting Requirements removes prerequisites. The labels do not establish whether a setting affects already-owned items, newly acquired items or every crafting screen, so make a save before experimenting.

Faster progression
Unlimited XP and XP Multiplier both concern experience, but they imply different behavior. An unlimited setting suggests removing the normal limit, while a multiplier suggests scaling earned XP. The listing does not specify their stacking rules, level-cap behavior or whether either option affects quest rewards differently from combat XP.

Convenience in ranged combat
Unlimited Ammo and No Reload reduce ammunition management. Super Accuracy and No Recoil address shot placement and weapon handling. These controls can be combined, but doing so changes both resource scarcity and aiming skill; enable only the layer of convenience you actually want.
High-damage combat
One-Hit Kills, Damage Multiplier, Super Stamina Damage and Stamina Damage Multiplier affect enemy defeat speed or stagger-related stamina. One-Hit Kills is the broadest-sounding enemy effect, while the multiplier options imply adjustable scaling. The page does not publish tested values or explain how bosses and special enemies respond.
Experimental pacing
Set Player Speed, Set Movement Speed and Game Speed change how quickly movement or the game simulation proceeds. Because these are separate labels, test them individually. A speed change can affect traversal, combat timing and the feel of dodging even when no damage option is enabled.
Version support and update history
Trainer compatibility is tied to the game build. WeMod’s current FAQ says the app detects the installed version and reports support status, which is the appropriate first check after installing or updating Dead Island 2.

The dated community material shows why old reports need careful reading. The Epic Games discussion documents development beginning with the April 2023 release and later additions. A Steam discussion contains user reports from April 2024 saying that some options were affected after a Steam update and that the trainer was queued for testing. Those posts describe conditions at that time; they do not establish a present-day failure or success rate for the build you have installed.
Use the support message displayed for your own installation as the current signal. If an option is missing, disabled or marked unsupported, do not infer that the entire game or every option is broken. Recheck the game version, read the app’s support status and use the vendor’s update-request path when offered.

Does the trainer run on Xbox?
The current WeMod page says its app is Windows-only. An Xbox-branded community thread can make the listing appear console-specific, but the thread does not prove that the trainer runs on a retail Xbox console. The cited material identifies Windows software, not an Xbox download, console executable or supported console workflow.

The trainer author’s April 22, 2023 statement says, “The trainer is designed for single player use only.” That is the clearest scope statement attached to the release. An April 2024 forum discussion also contains a community warning that online cheating could lead to a ban or shadow ban. That warning is a dated user discussion, not a current official game policy or a verified ban outcome.

Do not treat a toggle as safe for cooperative or online play simply because it appears in the app. The available material does not establish multiplayer support, server-side behavior, account consequences or a current publisher enforcement rule. Keep use within the stated single-player scope and check the game’s current rules before connecting to online services.

- Confirm the support status for the installed game version in WeMod.
- Enable one modification and test it in a low-consequence area.
- Check whether the observed change matches the option’s label before adding another.
- Disable the setting before loading a different build or entering any online feature.
- If behavior changes after a game update, return to the version check rather than assuming an old community fix still applies.
This method cannot guarantee compatibility, but it limits confusion between options and preserves a clean save for ordinary play.
Bottom line
The “+13 Options” name describes Dead Island 2’s April 2023 WeMod Community launch, not the current listing. The current WeMod page, accessed October 13, 2026, shows 26 named modifications in a Windows app. Check version support in that app, treat the dated single-player statement as the relevant scope, and do not interpret an Xbox-branded community page as proof of retail-console or multiplayer support.
