- Return to the progression or zone-selection screen. If Zone 2 is still locked, restart the game, check for an available update and verify that each Zone 1 mission is marked complete. Community guides can lag behind a build.
- Enter Zone 2 and recheck your upgrade menus. The same guide associates reaching Zone 2 with access to Superior Item upgrades, but the exact menu wording may differ between versions.

Make useful Fabricator purchases as soon as the run can support them. This advances the purchase-related achievement category and converts stored scrap into immediate survivability or damage potential. The exact best purchase depends on the options your current run presents; neither Steam’s listing nor the guide justifies naming one item as universally superior.

3. Build permanent stats deliberately
Spend resources on stat upgrades often enough to reach their milestones, while keeping enough currency for essential run purchases. Separate permanent upgrades from temporary effects in your notes: only the system named by the achievement should be assumed to count.
4. Unlock Zone 2 before planning Superior Item farming
Superior Item upgrades are reported as a post-Zone 2 system. Trying to optimize that menu before completing all four Zone 1 missions wastes time because the relevant interface may simply be unavailable.
5. Reserve high difficulty for prepared runs
Higher-difficulty mission achievements are easier to pursue after your ordinary route is consistent. Use a dedicated attempt, keep the objective visible and avoid combining an unfamiliar difficulty with several unverified achievement conditions.

- Spend at the Fabricator. Choose an upgrade that helps the current run while advancing any purchase requirement shown in your achievement list.
- Finish the mission cleanly. Confirm the completion state before quitting or changing modes.
- Track the four Zone 1 missions. Once all four are complete, check for Zone 2 and then inspect Superior Item upgrades.
- Branch into cleanup runs. Use separate runs for android kills, resource totals, purchases, stat milestones and difficulty objectives so one failed experiment does not compromise every goal.
- Handle late systems last. Weapon sanctification and Zone 4 objectives belong after the game exposes those systems; follow their current in-game descriptions.
Solo, co-op and controller considerations
Steam confirms both single-player and online co-op, plus cross-platform multiplayer.
