It frames the journey with the question, “should we have connected?” The studio’s official materials do not provide a full scene-by-scene transcript of the trailer, so individual scene descriptions are best understood as reported observations, not a complete account of its gameplay.

Why viewers saw Metal Gear in the trailer

The resemblance comes from character and machine designs. IGN’s report compared Neil’s bandanna and soldier-led presentation to Snake, and the Magellan Man’s appearance to Metal Gear Rex. Those are interpretive comparisons based on the trailer’s imagery.
