Xbox Wire’s December 2 announcement lists “Console” for Dome Keeper and specifically “Xbox Series X|S” for Mortal Kombat 1. Those labels should not be treated as identical platform claims.
When did Mortal Kombat 1 come to Game Pass?
Mortal Kombat 1 was announced for Game Pass on December 10, 2025. Xbox described it as ushering in “a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and fatalities!” The announcement lists Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, alongside Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.

Is Dome Keeper on Game Pass?
Dome Keeper was announced for Game Pass on December 9, 2025. Xbox Wire later reported on April 13, 2026, that the game’s multiplayer update was available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Play Anywhere, and Game Pass. That update added local and online co-op and versus modes; the article also noted paid DLC with two new keepers.
Those dated announcements establish its earlier availability, not its live catalog status on October 8, 2026. Check the Game Pass catalog for the current listing before relying on access through a subscription.

In a separate Xbox Wire feature published December 9, 2025, Xbox reported that Dome Keeper had passed two million players, attributing the milestone to developer and publisher Raw Fury. That was a figure reported in 2025, not a current player count.
What platforms are Mortal Kombat 1 and Dome Keeper on?
The December announcement gives the following platform coverage. It does not list Xbox Series X|S under Dome Keeper, or a general “Console” label under Mortal Kombat 1.

The announcement puts two different kinds of games in the same monthly lineup. Dome Keeper centers on digging, resource collection, equipment upgrades, and defending a dome against alien waves. Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game set in a reborn version of its universe. Both were listed for the same three Game Pass tiers; the announcement does not indicate a tier difference between them.

For additional context on Dome Keeper, Raw Fury Brand Manager Mariela González later described its Xbox release as a milestone after five years as a PC-only game. That perspective appeared in Xbox Wire’s April 2026 coverage of the multiplayer update, not in the December arrival announcement.
