Why do some dates say July 18 or August 6?
July 18, 2024 was the originally announced start date, not the date the test began. A later announcement revised the PC Alpha Test start to August 6, 2024. The dates therefore describe the planned and revised starts, while September 8 was the closure date. Official PC Alpha announcements
Which Delta Force test closed on September 8?
This was the PC Alpha Test, accessed through the official PC launcher or Steam Playtest. It included Hazard Operations, an extraction mode, and Havoc Warfare, a large-scale team combat mode. The later start announcement said the Alpha included six Operators and more than 40 weapons.
#1 Best Overall
The closure was not the end of Delta Force as a game. It marked the end of this particular Alpha test. The official announcements said Alpha progress would not carry over to the release version and would be wiped after the test. Official Alpha announcement and closure notice
