Delta Force Season 2, titled Starfall, launched on January 18, 2025. Its announced additions included two Warfare maps, new modes, Operations map changes, Engineer Operator Sineva, three weapons, and gameplay adjustments. The launch events and map rotations described below were dated 2025 offers; the official materials do not establish Starfall’s exact end date or which content remains playable now.
What was added in Delta Force Season 2?
Team Jade’s January 17, 2025 announcement positioned Starfall as a broad update across Warfare and Operations, rather than a single map release. The headline additions were Knife Edge and Trainwreck for Warfare, Hot Zone and Capture the Flag, Operations map expansions, Sineva, new weapons, and mode and balance changes. Team Jade’s announcement said the season would go live January 18, 2025.

Which maps and modes were in Starfall?
Warfare maps: Knife Edge and Trainwreck
The season added two Warfare maps: Knife Edge and Trainwreck. The official preview scheduled open Attack/Defense rotations for Knife Edge from January 18–25, 2025, followed by Trainwreck from January 26–February 2, 2025. Those were launch-period event windows, not current schedules. The preview’s map and mode details are in the official Starfall update preview.
Hot Zone and Capture the Flag
Hot Zone was a 3v3v3 PvP mode centered on collecting MandelCells. The official game copy summed up its emphasis as: “There is only one objective in this mode – Fight, Fight and Fight!” Capture the Flag was the other new mini-mode named in the season announcement. The announcement does not provide further rules for Capture the Flag in the material summarized here.

Changes to existing maps
Starfall also changed maps already in the game. In Warfare, the preview listed cover, route, and resupply-area adjustments, and said Ascension’s final defense point gained destructible environmental elements and an underground combat area. In Operations, Zero Dam received a new underground area. Space City gained a random event in which its main bridge could be destroyed, opening another way across without activating the bridge.
Which operator, weapons, and equipment were added?
Sineva, an Engineer Operator
Starfall introduced Sineva as an Engineer Operator. The season preview said Sineva was available as a free Season Pass unlock; that describes the 2025 pass, not a current unlock offer.

Three new weapons
- SR-9: marksman rifle.
- QCQ171: submachine gun.
- QJB201: light machine gun.
Fortification, launchers, and Leap
The preview listed a Fortification System that let players build cover at designated locations, as well as a high-explosive grenade launcher and a smoke grenade launcher as new class gadgets. It also introduced Leap, a movement action triggered while sprinting by pressing the assigned key. During the dive, players could not change direction, aim down sights, or fire.
What progression, rewards, and events did Starfall offer?
Season Pass and TurBrick
The 2025 preview described a Season Pass capped at 190 levels, with cosmetic and other in-game rewards and Sineva as a free unlock. It printed paid unlock options of 720 Delta Coins for Deluxe Edition and 520 Delta Coins for Mode Special Edition; these are the prices shown in the January 2025 preview, not a verified current offer.

Starfall also introduced TurBrick as an activity system. The announcement said players could obtain TurBricks in Operations using Tekniq Alloy, through accumulated Warfare points, and from holiday events or pass-level rewards. Opening them was free, and the announcement listed charm rewards.
Time-limited launch events
The official preview listed launch-period login and milestone events offering rewards such as weapon appearances, Armament Vouchers, TurBricks, weapon experience tokens, and temporary safe-box access. Listed windows included January 18–31, 2025 for login and Supplies events; January 18–30 for certain weapon-unlock and attachment events; and January 18–February 6 for a New Season Content event. All of those dates have passed.

What gameplay changes did the Starfall preview announce?
Beyond new content, the preview described adjustments intended to affect match flow and handling:
- Vehicle handling improvements and an option to adjust vehicle loadouts from the deployment UI.
- Improved environmental-destruction visuals on PC.
- Warfare map changes to cover, routes, and resupply areas.
- Revised point rewards for healing, fortification, anti-vehicle play, and capturing.
- Operator and weapon balance changes.
These are changes announced in the Starfall preview, not a statement of the game’s current balance or present-day behavior.

Is Delta Force Season 2 content still available?
The announcement and preview establish what Starfall announced and when some launch events ran, but they do not establish the season’s exact end date or the present availability of each map, mode, reward, or pass offer.
