That date has passed: an official update dated August 21, 2025, referred to a bug in the campaign mode on console. The available official notices establish that the mode existed by then, but not its exact launch day.
What the original “next month” announcement meant
The headline was accurate to its December 2024 moment, not a current release forecast. On November 27, 2024, developer Team Jade announced that the Black Hawk Down campaign would arrive in January 2025, describing it as a “single-player/co-op” experience. Its announcement said: “We are excited to share that our action-packed single-player/co-op Black Hawk Down campaign will be arriving in January of 2025.” Team Jade’s November 27 announcement gave a planned month, not a specific day.

On December 5, 2024, Insider Gaming reported that Delta Force was then in open beta on PC and that the campaign was expected the following month. “Next month” therefore meant January 2025 in that report; it should not be read as an upcoming date now.
Is the campaign out now?
The strongest official evidence here is an August 21, 2025 update that listed a console bug involving default controller sensitivity in Black Hawk Down campaign mode. That confirms the mode was present in the game by that date, but it does not establish when it first launched. The update is available on the official Delta Force site.
#1 Best Overall
So the precise answer is: the campaign was planned for January 2025 and was documented as an existing game mode by August 2025. These notices do not verify its exact release day or provide a complete current availability list by platform and region.
Which Black Hawk Down game is this?
This campaign is a mode in the modern Delta Force game, not the separately listed 2003 game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. The official franchise catalogue distinguishes the 2024 free-to-play tactical shooter from the older standalone title. The shared name can make release listings confusing, so check that a listing or announcement refers to the newer Delta Force before treating it as information about this campaign.
