A Reddit discussion uses “Deltarune F Bomb” while inventing possible lines, and a GamesRadar report quotes profanity from an outside reaction to pages on Deltarune’s website. Neither establishes that a character says the word in the game. The defensible conclusion is therefore “no verified instance found in the sources examined,” not “Deltarune never says it.”
What the question is really asking
“Does Deltarune say the F word?” can refer to several different things, and separating them matters. A reader may mean spoken character dialogue, text displayed in the game, narration, a sound effect that resembles profanity, material on the official website, or something written by fans. Those are different bodies of evidence.

For a yes-or-no answer about the game, the relevant test is whether a released chapter contains the word in authoritative in-game text or an unmistakable official transcription of dialogue. A fan post, a joke, a reaction on social media, or an article quoting somebody’s reaction to a website page cannot substitute for that record.
The available search material does not include an official script, game-text dump, or dependable transcript that settles the issue across the released chapters. That absence limits the conclusion. It does not prove that the word appears, and it does not prove that the word never appears.

What the available sources establish
| Source or item | What it shows | What it cannot establish |
|---|---|---|
| Reddit fan discussion using the phrase “Deltarune F Bomb” | Fans discuss the possibility of an F-bomb and write hypothetical examples. | Those invented examples are not quotations from Deltarune and do not prove that any character says the word. |
| GamesRadar coverage of mysterious pages on Deltarune’s official website | The article quotes an external reaction that includes “what the fuck.” | The quoted profanity belongs to the reaction, not to established in-game dialogue. |
| Authoritative script or reliable transcript | No such confirming text is supplied in the available evidence. | Without it, a definitive yes or no would overstate what is known. |
This distinction explains why search snippets can make the answer look more certain than it is. A result titled around “Who gets the Deltarune F Bomb” reflects a fan question or discussion topic. It is not an index of every line in the game. Likewise, profanity appearing in a news article may be the writer’s quotation of a reader’s reaction rather than a line from the game being discussed.
Why the Reddit examples are not game dialogue
The Reddit material is useful for understanding how fans phrase the question, but its examples are hypothetical. Participants imagine who might deliver an F-bomb and what that line could sound like. Creative speculation is not evidence of the released script.
There are several warning signs when treating a fan example as a quotation:

- Help your Mii characters explore likes and dislikes, find relationships, and get up to all sorts of fun
- Give Mii characters clothes, food, items, and life advice as they deal with all kinds of situations
- The post describes a possible future or imagined scene rather than identifying a chapter, location, speaker, and exact text.
- The wording is presented as a joke, prediction, role-play line, or “what if” scenario.
- No screenshot, video, game-text extraction, or transcript citation accompanies the alleged quote.
- Other users discuss whether the line would fit a character, which signals speculation rather than documentation.
A fan can accurately remember a line, but memory alone is not a dependable citation—especially for a question about one particular word. To treat a line as verified, a reader should be able to locate it in the released game or in a transcript that identifies where the line occurs.
Why the GamesRadar quotation does not answer it
The GamesRadar item concerns mysterious pages on Deltarune’s official website. In discussing fan reactions, it quotes an outside response containing the phrase “what the fuck.” That is profanity used by a person reacting to the website material. It is not a line spoken by a Deltarune character, and it is not evidence that the game’s dialogue contains the word.
This is a common attribution error. An article can contain the words “what the fuck” while reporting on a game that never uses them. The speaker, medium, and context must travel with any quotation. Here, the speaker is an external commenter, the medium is a reaction quoted by a news article, and the subject is website pages—not a recorded line from a released chapter.

What would provide a definitive answer
A reliable answer requires checking the actual released text rather than inferring from search results. The strongest evidence would be one of the following:
Recommended Free Tools
- Official game text or script: Text distributed by the game’s creator or publisher and tied to a released version would directly establish whether the spelling appears.
- A dependable transcript: A carefully maintained transcript covering the relevant released chapters, with scene or speaker information, can establish a line when it reproduces the game accurately.
- Direct in-game verification: Reaching the scene in a legitimate copy and recording the exact displayed or spoken wording provides primary evidence. The chapter, scene, and version should be noted.
- Cross-checking: If a transcript reports the word, compare it against the game or another independent, well-documented transcription before presenting it as fact.
Searching only for the phrase “Deltarune F Bomb” is not enough. A proper check should search the released text for the exact spelling, common typographical variants, and any obscured form, then inspect each hit in context. The result should identify whether the word is spoken, displayed, quoted by another character, or merely part of a menu, file, or external material.
How to verify the dialogue yourself
If you want to investigate a particular release, use a repeatable process so that a joke or misremembered line does not become a false quotation.
- Define the scope. Decide whether you are checking spoken dialogue, text boxes, narration, battle text, optional interactions, or all of them. Record which released chapters and platform or version are included.
- Use a source that preserves context. Prefer an official script or a transcript that names speakers and scenes. Avoid isolated screenshots with no chapter or location information.
- Search exact and variant forms. Check the ordinary spelling and any deliberately censored, interrupted, or symbol-substituted rendering. Keep separate notes for exact matches and near-matches.
- Inspect every result. Determine who produced the line, whether it is actually part of the game, and whether a character is quoting somebody else. A search hit in commentary around a transcript is not a dialogue hit.
- Record the location. Note the chapter, room or event, speaker, surrounding lines, and release version. This makes the result auditable if text changes in a later update.
- Report the conclusion narrowly. Say either that a documented instance was found, or that no verified instance was found in the checked material. Do not turn an incomplete search into a claim about every release.
This method also handles differences between platforms and updates. If a line is absent from one transcript, that may reflect incomplete coverage, a typo, a route-specific scene, or a version difference. The answer should identify which possibility is supported instead of treating absence from one page as proof of universal absence.

The phrase “the F word” can describe more than one presentation. A game might display the complete spelling, replace letters with symbols, interrupt the word with punctuation, or imply profanity without writing it. Those cases should not be collapsed into a single claim.

Obscured rendering
Asterisks, symbols, missing letters, or a cut-off utterance may communicate profanity without displaying the complete word. Whether that counts as “saying the F word” depends on the questioner’s definition, so the article should describe the form precisely rather than silently treating it as an uncensored quotation.
Implication or fan paraphrase
A character’s angry tone, a reaction that suggests swearing, or a fan’s paraphrase is not proof of a specific word. It can establish mood or interpretation, but not the exact vocabulary used in the released game.
What can responsibly be said now
Based on the available material, no authoritative source confirms an F-word occurrence in Deltarune’s released dialogue. The Reddit examples are fan-written hypotheticals, and the profanity quoted by GamesRadar comes from an external reaction to website pages. Therefore, “Deltarune definitely says it” is unsupported, while “Deltarune definitely never says it” is also unsupported.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →The most accurate short answer is: no verified instance is established by these sources. Anyone seeking a final yes or no should verify the released game text or a dependable transcript that covers the chapters in question. Until that check is documented, treat online claims as speculation unless they provide a traceable in-game location.
How to evaluate a future claim
If a new post says that a particular character uses the word, check the claim against four questions:
- Does it identify a released chapter, scene, and speaker?
- Does it show the actual in-game text or cite a transcript with that location?
- Is the wording presented as a quotation rather than a hypothetical line?
- Does the evidence distinguish game dialogue from website content, news commentary, or a fan reaction?
A claim that fails those checks may still be an interesting theory, but it should not be repeated as a confirmed line. This standard protects readers from the exact confusion created when a fan discussion and an external reaction are mistaken for the game’s own script.
