All three of Hacker’s Blue Checkmarks are in Chapter 2’s Cyber Field, around Rhythm Crossroads and the Teacup Trio area. They can be collected in any order. After finding all three, return to Hacker and talk to him to finish the quest.
Before you start
Find Hacker north of Rhythm Crossroads, beyond the area where Sweet Cap’n Cakes sell bagels. He is the blue, mouse-cursor-shaped character standing on a small raised platform. Talk to him to begin the quest.

The Blue Checkmarks are optional collectibles. They do not remain in your inventory: each one shoots upward and disappears immediately after collection. Hacker’s dialogue tracks your progress.

- From Rhythm Crossroads, take the lower route into the bullet-dodging section.
- Continue through the first section and enter the room between the two bullet areas.
- Go to the room’s far bottom-right corner.
- Open the chest to receive the GlowWrist and the first Blue Checkmark.
The room has a floating screen labeled “stupid.” After collecting the checkmark, a Tasque becomes stuck inside the screen. The chest is off the main route, so following the bullet paths without exploring the side room can cause you to miss it.

Blue Checkmark 2: The middle Teacup Trio ride
First, solve the nearby force-field puzzle by entering:
AGREE2ALLThis puzzle only opens the route to the Teacup Trio; it is not one of Hacker’s checkmarks.
- Enter the room with the three teacup rides.
- Choose the middle teacup.
- Collect 16 orbs to reach the top.
- Open the chest at the top to collect the second Blue Checkmark.
Do not confuse this ride with the leftmost one: the middle ride leads to the checkmark chest, while the leftmost ride leads to the third-checkmark puzzle.

Blue Checkmark 3: The GIASFELFEBREHBER puzzle
- In the Teacup Trio room, take the leftmost teacup ride.
- Collect 10 orbs to reach the upper area.
- Complete the keyboard-floor puzzle using this exact sequence:
GIASFELFEBREHBERThis is not a password entered into a normal menu. Kris must walk across adjacent letter tiles in the displayed order, using every character exactly as shown. Completing the route awards the third Blue Checkmark. The sequence is associated with ICE-E’s catchphrase.
How to complete Hacker’s quest
Once all three checkmarks have been collected, return to Hacker’s platform north of Rhythm Crossroads and speak to him again. He launches fireworks showing Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, then becomes a recruited character.
Afterward, Hacker appears in later Chapter 2 locations including Cyber City and Queen’s Mansion. He also appears during the Thrash Machine assembly before the GIGA Queen fight, where his “strongest JPEGs” raise the machine’s maximum HP by 5, up to the 250-HP cap. A completed Chapter 2 result can also carry Hacker’s recruitment into later chapter data in Castle Town.

Common problems
Hacker does not react after one checkmark
That is expected. Hacker only completes the quest after all three checkmarks are collected and you speak to him again. He can provide progress dialogue after individual pickups.

Blue Checkmarks are designed to vanish after collection instead of occupying an inventory slot. The disappearance is normal.
The Teacup Trio area is blocked
Complete the nearby AGREE2ALL puzzle to remove the force field.
The rides or puzzle seem to be swapped
The middle teacup requires 16 orbs and leads to the checkmark chest. The leftmost teacup requires 10 orbs and leads to the GIASFELFEBREHBER floor puzzle.
Do the checkmarks unlock Spamton NEO?
Hacker’s completed quest makes him point out the hidden route into Queen’s Mansion’s basement, where Spamton NEO is fought. However, the checkmark quest is not the sole requirement for accessing that encounter.

All three checkmarks remain Chapter 2 collectibles. They are found in Cyber Field—not Cyber City or Queen’s Mansion. Chapter 2 is included in the free demo on supported platforms, while current commercial editions include later chapters; carried-forward data can record whether Hacker was recruited.
