What changed on the Steam listing
Reports citing SteamDB say the listing stopped naming Denuvo Anti-Tamper in an update recorded on September 30, 2026; one report gives the change time as 17:30:06 UTC. Tomb Raider Chronicles and Prima Games described the change. SteamDB’s game listing is a dynamic record, so its displayed metadata can change over time.
Does this mean the game will launch without Denuvo?
Not necessarily. The reported change establishes that a Steam listing field no longer named Denuvo; it does not establish that the anti-tamper technology has been removed from the executable, that the change is permanent, or that no other DRM will be used. The game is not yet released, and the final configuration may still change.
The official game announcement and preorder announcement do not address the reported listing change. No official confirmation that the shipping PC version will be Denuvo-free appears in those materials.

When is Legacy of Atlantis due, and on which platforms?
The official preorder announcement, published June 2, 2026, lists February 12, 2027 as the release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam/PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. As with any unreleased game, that schedule is subject to change. The announcement describes the product as a full-game digital download.
What kind of Tomb Raider game is it?
Legacy of Atlantis is presented as an Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of Lara Croft’s 1996 debut, developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog—not simply a port of the original. Official materials point to expanded environments, redesigned puzzles, and a reworked Lost Valley. Crystal Dynamics Studio Creative Director Noah Hughes called it “a true reimagining of the original game” in the official announcement; he was describing the game’s development, not commenting on DRM.
