Completing every The Final Shape campaign mission on Legendary gives additional rewards per class, including upgraded armor. Bungie has described that armor as high enough in Power Level for raid content; a later update specified the intended Exotic armor reward as Armor 3.0 with curated rolls. The Prismatic Exotic class items are a separate reward, not a Legendary campaign completion reward.
What do you get for completing the Legendary campaign?
Bungie says that “Completing all Legendary missions provides additional rewards per class.” Its launch article gives an example of the upgrade: a set of armor with a Power Level high enough for raid content. Bungie did not provide an exact Power Level number in that description, so the reward should not be treated as a guaranteed fixed number.
In Update 9.7.0, Bungie clarified that the intended Exotic armor reward uses Armor 3.0 curated rolls and noted that a bug granting Armor 2.0 versions had been fixed. That update does not list the exact Exotic items or explain which choices are currently offered. Check the in-game campaign or vendor prompts for the available reward and claim details.
Are the rewards class-specific?
Yes. Bungie describes the additional rewards as being provided “per class.” Its public guide does not spell out a separate completion or claim rule for each character, so do not assume details beyond that wording; use the in-game prompts to confirm what is available for your class.

- For the first time ever, Prismatic empowers you to combine Arc, Solar, Void, Stasis, and Strand into a custom subclass of your design. Light and Darkness have no quarrel within you, Guardian.
- The Final Shape looms—a nightmarish calcification of reality into the Witness's twisted design. Embark on a perilous journey into the heart of the Traveler, rally the Vanguard, and end the War of Light and Darkness.
Does Legendary completion give you a Prismatic Exotic class item?
No. Bungie describes Exotic class items as exclusive to Prismatic and earned through a unique activity, making them a separate reward route from the Legendary campaign. Completing the campaign on Legendary is not established as a way to obtain one.
What makes the campaign Legendary?
Legendary is the harder campaign difficulty, with stronger combatants. Its added rewards are tied to completing all Legendary missions, rather than simply choosing the difficulty for an individual mission. For the reward description and campaign guidance, see Bungie’s campaign guide; Bungie’s launch article describes the upgraded armor, and Update 9.7.0 explains the intended Armor 3.0 reward version.
