If Xûr isn’t showing up in Destiny 2, first check the schedule and the correct location: his shop is in the Tower Bazaar, just to the right as you enter from the Courtyard, and he is available from Friday through Tuesday before reset. A flashing Tower icon is not proof he is there; Bungie lists that indicator as a known issue.
Where is Xûr in Destiny 2?
Xûr’s current storefront is in the Tower Bazaar. From the Courtyard entrance to the Bazaar, look just to your right. Bungie announced this permanent shop location on June 13, 2024, in its This Week in Destiny update.

Older guides that direct you to the EDZ, Nessus, or the Hangar describe his previous visits, not the current shop. Use the Bazaar location for his storefront.
When does Xûr appear?
Bungie says Xûr is available from Friday through Tuesday, before reset. The announcement specifies the days but does not give a numeric time, so check the reset clock shown in-game for the precise cutoff in your region. Outside that weekly window, his absence is expected.

Why is Xûr’s Tower icon flashing when he isn’t there?
The icon can be misleading. Bungie’s Known Issues page, last updated July 7, 2026, states that “The icon for Xûr in The Tower can appear active and flashing even when he is not present.” Confirm his presence by going to the Bazaar during his scheduled availability rather than relying on the icon alone. - Confirm the schedule. Make sure it is Friday through Tuesday and before reset.
- Check the Bazaar storefront. Enter the Bazaar from the Courtyard and look just to the right.
- Check for service interruptions. Scheduled or emergency maintenance and updates can affect Destiny 2 services. Review Bungie Help’s service and issue information for current notices.
- Report an issue if it persists. Bungie directs players experiencing problems to its Help forum.
There is no established universal in-game fix for Xûr being absent during the window. A September 2026 player report describes him appearing missing or invisible, but it is anecdotal and does not establish a cause or reliable fix. Reloading, switching characters, or clearing cache should not be treated as proven solutions.
