To unlock them, reach level 15 and complete the Druid Priority quest “Spirits of the Lost Grove” in Túr Dúlra, Scosglen. Spirit Offerings unlock boon choices; once all are available, you can have five active buffs, with a bond required to select a second boon from one spirit.
How to unlock Spirit Boons
- Reach level 15 as a Druid. A guide updated March 11, 2026, reports that Spirit Offerings begin dropping from slain enemies at this point.
- Open the Druid Priority quest. Follow “Druid: Spirits of the Lost Grove,” which takes you to Túr Dúlra in western Scosglen.
- Complete the quest steps at Túr Dúlra. Completing the quest unlocks access to the spirit boons. The route and mechanics here are reported by Wowhead’s Druid Spirit Boons guide; Blizzard’s official class page describes the Druid, but does not provide a full mechanics walkthrough.
Wowhead also reports that, after completing the full level-15 Druid Priority quest line on one Druid, later Druids of the same account type—Normal or Hardcore—unlock Spirit Boons automatically at level 15. This account-unlock detail is not corroborated by an official mechanics page here, so check the in-game menu if another character does not receive access as expected.

What Spirit Offerings unlock
Spirit Offerings are the currency used to reveal boon choices for the four spirits. According to Wowhead’s guide, Deer, Wolf, and Eagle reveal one additional choice for each 25 Offerings contributed; Snake requires 100 Offerings at once to reveal all four of its choices. The guide says each spirit has four choices and requires 100 Offerings in total to unlock them all.
| Spirit | Offering schedule reported by Wowhead | Choices available after 100 Offerings |
|---|---|---|
| Deer | One additional choice per 25 Offerings | Four |
| Wolf | One additional choice per 25 Offerings | Four |
| Eagle | One additional choice per 25 Offerings | Four |
| Snake | 100 Offerings at once reveals all four choices | Four |
These thresholds come from the guide updated March 11, 2026, rather than an independently verified current in-game test. If the menu in your current game shows different requirements, follow the displayed costs.

- Diablo IV is the next-gen action RPG experience with endless evil to slaughter, countless abilities to master, nightmarish Dungeons, and legendary loot.
- Embark on the campaign solo or with friends, meeting memorable characters through beautifully dark settings and a gripping story, or explore an expansive end game and shared world where players can meet in towns to trade, team up to battle World Bosses, or descend into PVP zones to test their skills against other players - no lobbies necessary - with cross-play and cross-progression on all available platforms.
How many boons can you have active?
Wowhead reports that, after unlocking all the choices, a Druid can have five buffs active at once. Selecting a second boon from the same spirit requires bonding with that spirit. In practical terms, you can spread selections among the four spirits, or bond with one spirit to take an additional choice from its row while keeping to the five-active-boon limit.
How to choose boons for your build
There is no single best combination for every Druid. Compare each boon’s current in-game effect with what your build needs, and consider whether a second choice from one spirit is more valuable than taking choices across multiple spirits.

- Start with your skills and form. Blizzard describes the Druid as able to shift between bear and werewolf forms and wield earth, wind, and storm powers. Choose bonuses that support the form, skills, and play pattern you actually use rather than assuming one spirit is universally best. Blizzard’s official Diablo IV page.
- Identify the gap you want to address. Decide whether you need more damage, survivability, or another kind of support, then inspect the available boon descriptions for a direct match.
- Check the live descriptions. Exact effects and values can change with game updates. Use the boon text in your current game rather than relying on an old list of percentages.
- Reconsider the bond choice. If two appealing choices appear under the same spirit, weigh the second selection against the alternative of using that slot elsewhere.
If Spirit Boons or Offerings are missing
If the menu does not show boon choices or you cannot see Offerings, first confirm that the character is a Druid, has reached level 15, and has progressed through the “Spirits of the Lost Grove” Priority quest at Túr Dúlra. The cited guide places Offering drops after level 15; before then, the currency may not appear. If those conditions are met but the menu still differs from the guide, use the current in-game menu as the authority for your character and patch.
