Blizzard acknowledged access problems in April and September, but the available reports do not show that queue times have steadily increased or establish the game’s current status on October 8, 2026.
What players reported about Diablo 4 queue times
The reports describe delays when trying to log in or access the game—not in-game matchmaking queues. They are individual accounts and do not establish typical wait times for the wider player base.

- April 28, 2026: A player described a queue exceeding 120 minutes, with an inconsistent estimate. That is one player’s report, not a service-wide measurement. Read the forum discussion.
- June 3, 2026: A player described a “17 minute login queue,” and other participants also mentioned delays. This is a separate anecdotal report, not evidence of the usual wait. Read the forum discussion.
What Blizzard said about access problems
On April 28, Blizzard forum user Lyricana posted a notice acknowledging access issues affecting Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred: “We’re aware that some players are currently experiencing issues accessing Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred. The team is actively investigating and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We’ll share updates here as we have them.” The notice confirmed an investigation; it did not report a cause or a resolution. Read the April 28 notice.
A separate notice dated September 15, 2026 said some players were prevented from logging in and that Blizzard was investigating. It did not establish whether that incident was later resolved. Read the September 15 notice.

Do the reports prove queue times are getting longer?
No. Reports from separate dates show that some players experienced frustrating login delays, but they do not measure queue times consistently over time. The available evidence does not establish a sustained increase across regions, platforms, or seasons, nor does it confirm a technical root cause.
The September 15 notice is the latest relevant Blizzard notice in the available record. It does not establish whether queues were elevated on October 8, 2026, so these reports should not be read as a live service-status update.
