What update 2.1.0 introduced
Season of Witchcraft
The season began January 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. PST. It brought a seasonal questline and Witchcraft Powers that augment existing skills, alongside the hunt for the rogue Headrotten. Blizzard described the launch as an invitation to “embark on a new Seasonal Questline to unlock powers of Witchcraft, slay the rogue Headrotten, and uncover the secrets behind this haunting mystery.” See Blizzard’s Season of Witchcraft overview for its seasonal context.
The Armory
The Armory lets players save and swap between favorite builds. Blizzard announced it as an update feature available on all realms.

How to read the 2.1 patch-note page
Blizzard’s page includes several releases in the 2.1 series, not just the original launch patch. To verify whether a change belongs to 2.1.0, match it to the dated build heading: Build #61313, all platforms, January 21, 2025. Later dated headings describe later releases and should not be attributed to this update.
