Keep following us, and there might just be some surprises waiting for you later this year.” PCGamesN’s contemporaneous report identified Feng Ji as Game Science co-founder and CEO, as well as the game’s director.

The site’s footer describes it as an “unofficial introduction page,” so the statement is best attributed to that producer message rather than treated as a post on an official company domain. Feng Ji said the team had seriously followed a “DLC first” plan for much of the half-year after Wukong’s release, but then chose to start a new Black Myth work first. He wrote: “DLC is certainly not a bad choice, but at this moment, we want to make a new Black Myth work first—” The new work is Black Myth: Zhong Kui.
He also said Wukong’s legend would return in a more complete form after proper preparation. That is an indication of future intent, not a release schedule: the message provides no Wukong DLC date.
