It offers no solid basis to say Jonathan Bailey was replaced—or that he was ill. The casting question remains unresolved.
What prompted questions about G’raha’s voice?
After Patch 7.4 arrived, players discussed whether G’raha Tia sounded different in English. GamesRadar reported one player asking, “Is it just me … or does G’raha Tia sound different to anyone else in the 7.4 patch?” The same report quoted a follow-up: “Does anyone know?” These are examples of player reactions, not confirmation of a change in casting.

The coverage describes speculation about Bailey’s involvement, but does not establish the scale of the reaction with a count or survey. A headline describing a “meltdown” should not be read as a measured account of how many players were concerned.
Is Jonathan Bailey still G’raha Tia’s English voice actor in Patch 7.4?
The reviewed reporting does not establish whether Jonathan Bailey recorded G’raha’s English Patch 7.4 lines or whether another performer did. It also does not cite an authoritative statement from Bailey or Square Enix confirming the patch’s English cast. So the accurate answer is that his participation in these lines has not been confirmed by the sources available here—not that he was definitively replaced.

A perceived difference in a performance cannot by itself identify a recast. The coverage also does not verify fan theories that attribute the perceived difference to illness or workload. Those explanations should be treated as speculation, not as facts about Bailey or the production.
What is Patch 7.4?
Square Enix titled the update Into the Mist. Its official patch page lists December 16, 2025, as the announced date; Square Enix’s North American release-day post is dated December 17, 2025. Those dates refer to different official materials and should not be conflated.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What would confirm the performer?
A definitive answer would require a reliable production credit or a direct statement from Square Enix or the performer identifying who recorded G’raha’s English lines for Patch 7.4. The player comments reported by GamesRadar establish that some players perceived a difference and wanted to know who voiced him; they do not settle that production question.
