No—not globally, based on the latest verified Microsoft Rewards catalog. The catalog still lists Overwatch Coins Digital Code for 5,000 Microsoft Rewards points. However, the reward may be missing, unavailable, or priced differently for individual users because Microsoft varies Rewards offers by country, region, account, and market.
This status is based on the catalog available on August 7, 2026, not a guarantee that every account can redeem the reward.

Why some users think the reward was removed
A catalog listing does not mean the reward is available to every Microsoft account. Microsoft says Rewards offers vary by country, region, account, and market. A reward can therefore remain visible to one user while disappearing from another, or show as temporarily unavailable or out of stock.
Microsoft also says that some gift-card offers are not always available. Its guidance is to check the Redeem page rather than assume that an unavailable item has been permanently deleted. Microsoft does not provide a restock or removal schedule for individual rewards.
That means the claim that Microsoft permanently removed Overwatch Coins is not verified. The more accurate conclusion is that Overwatch Coins remain listed in the currently checked catalog, while availability may be account- or region-specific and can change.

What the Overwatch reward requires
The listing states that redemption requires:
- A Battle.net account in good standing with access to Overwatch.
- An internet connection.
- A supported platform that meets Overwatch’s minimum system requirements.
After a successful redemption, follow the code or account instructions shown by Microsoft. Keep your Microsoft Rewards order confirmation and code details until the coins appear in the intended Battle.net or Overwatch account.
Why you may not see or redeem Overwatch Coins
Regional or market restrictions
You must redeem Rewards in the same region where you registered. Microsoft specifically warns against redeeming while traveling in another Rewards market and against using a VPN, proxy, or another service that hides your actual location.
Temporary unavailability
The item may appear in the catalog but be unavailable, or it may disappear temporarily. Microsoft does not confirm whether every unavailable reward is awaiting restock or has been permanently removed.

Phone-verification problems
Microsoft documents several verification-related causes of failed redemption:
- Entering the wrong verification code.
- Making too many unsuccessful verification attempts. Microsoft says to wait 48 hours before trying again.
- Using a phone number associated with too many Rewards accounts. Microsoft states a maximum of six accounts per household per phone number.
- Using a VoIP number. Microsoft requires a mobile or landline number.
Account-specific differences
Users have reported that Overwatch rewards disappeared from one account while remaining visible to nearby users, or appeared as unavailable or out of stock. These reports show that availability can differ between accounts, but they do not establish a universal removal or explain Microsoft’s internal stock rules.
What to do if points were deducted but coins did not appear
A Microsoft Q&A report describes a case in which points were deducted but the Overwatch Coins did not appear in-game. This is a user report, not confirmation that the same failure affects all redemptions.

Bottom line
Microsoft Rewards has not been shown to have removed Overwatch Coins globally. The latest verified catalog still includes an Overwatch Coins Digital Code listing for 5,000 points. If you cannot see it, the likely explanation is regional, account-specific, temporary, or related to redemption verification—not proof of a permanent worldwide removal.
Check the live Redeem catalog using your normal account and location. Do not use a VPN or proxy, and remember that Microsoft does not publish guaranteed restock or removal dates.
