No—Activision’s update history does not show a permanent, Warzone-wide removal of the Most Wanted contract. Its spawn timing changed in July 2025, and it returned to Resurgence and Battle Royale Solos in August. But the latest official notes available, dated October 7, 2026, do not confirm whether it currently appears in every mode, so check your selected playlist and its in-game contract spawns.
Why Most Wanted seemed to disappear
Most Wanted is a contract, not a standalone mode or permanent map feature. Its appearance and rules can change with updates, and its availability has depended on both match timing and mode.

In the July 2025 Season 04 Reloaded update, Activision said Most Wanted contracts would begin appearing only after the first circle ended. For Battle Royale, the notes placed them in Circle 4 and said contracts would stop spawning after that circle ended. That made the contract unavailable early in matches covered by those rules; it was not an announcement that Warzone had removed it altogether. Activision’s Season 04 Reloaded notes
When it returned, and what changed
In its August 2025 Season 05 notes, Raven Software said, “The Most Wanted Contract is now available again in Resurgence,” and also listed it as returning to Battle Royale Solos. The rewards differed by mode: completing the contract in Resurgence awarded an instant UAV and a full-team revive; in Solos, surviving the timer awarded an Airdrop that always included a UAV killstreak. In January 2026, Season 01 Reloaded notes changed one contract mechanic: opening a supply box reduced the remaining timer by 6 seconds instead of 12. Can you find Most Wanted in Warzone now?
As of October 7, 2026, the official Season 06 notes do not mention Most Wanted. Activision’s Warzone support page points to Season 06 information but does not provide a mode-by-mode contract list. The available official information therefore cannot confirm that the contract appears in every current playlist—or establish that it has been removed from any particular one. In that original version, accepting it marked the squad on opponents’ Tac Maps; surviving the timer earned cash and could redeploy dead squadmates.
