Its announced agenda and the highlights later reported by official recaps are not the same thing: the schedule shows what was planned, while the recaps describe selected outcomes.
What was Digimon Con 2025?
It was an online event for Digimon fans, not an in-person convention. Bandai announced that it would stream on the official Digimon YouTube channel and that participation was free. The event was planned to run for about two hours and 40 minutes, from 12:00 to approximately 14:40 JST on March 20, 2025. Bandai’s announcement gave the date and approximate schedule; Toei Animation’s preview also listed a noon JST start, equivalent to 5:00 a.m. CET.
Language and regional availability
Japanese and English versions were planned to stream simultaneously. Bandai cautioned that the programs could differ in some respects between versions and that some countries might be excluded. Toei’s preview said English subtitles would be available. Viewers should therefore not assume the two versions were identical or accessible in every region.
Where can you watch it now?
The event was streamed on the official Digimon YouTube channel. Bandai’s notice said only some content would be archived for a limited period after the stream; it does not establish that a replay is still available today.

What official recaps highlighted
Toei Animation’s April 11, 2025 recap selected several announcements across games, anime and cards. These are retrospective highlights, not a current check of release status.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
The game received an update during the event. In Bandai Namco Europe’s March 21 recap, producer Ryosuke Hara described it as a role-playing game about collecting and raising Digimon, investigating the world’s collapse, and traveling between the human and Digital worlds. Hara said: “The game is a classic RPG which greatly surpasses its predecessors, with a wide variety of Digimon to collect and raise as you pursue the mystery of the world’s collapse in an adventure that crosses the boundaries of the human and the Digital World. We have taken care to make the game extremely approachable, even for those who have never tried a Digimon game before, so we hope that those players will take this opportunity to dive into the world of Digimon video games!”

The March 21 article said the game was coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam in 2025. That records what Bandai Namco Europe reported at the time; consult an official current store listing for present platform and availability details. Read Bandai Namco Europe’s recap.
Digimon Alysion and animation projects
Toei’s April recap introduced Digimon Alysion as a mobile card game featuring exclusive cards, a story mode, and original characters. It also highlighted the Digimon Adventure Beyond project and the Digimon Beatbreak anime. The recap described Digimon Beatbreak as scheduled to premiere in October 2025; that is the schedule reported in April 2025, not a current status update.

Bandai reported that the previous year’s event reached up to 10,000 simultaneous connections, including viewers overseas. This is the publisher’s peak concurrent-connection figure for the prior event—not a verified count of unique viewers and not an audience figure for Digimon Con 2025. Bandai’s March 19 announcement is the source for the statistic.
