Use DigiAttack on every figure to register its Soul Bit; once you have all 17, return to the In-Between Theater to receive Etemon’s final message and complete the mission.
Where to find all 17 Etemon Soul Bits
The checklist follows the area order in the detailed Maestros del Mando walkthrough dated September 12, 2026; it is a practical route, not a verified fastest route. Every location is in the 8 Years Ago timeline.

- Shinjuku: A Certain Back Alley: Look in the southern part of the area, near the entrance from East Shopping District.
- Shinjuku: East Shopping District: Check beside the boxes near the Fashion Store.
- Higashi-Shinjuku: Vision Square: Search around the center of the square.
- Shinjuku Station: East Gate: Look in the central area near a station pillar.
- Shinjuku Underground: Promenade: Search around the middle of the underground passage.
- Shinjuku Underground Town: Subroad: Check the southwest section near pillars and coin lockers.
- Nakazawa Gourmet Coffee: Enter the coffee shop and search inside; do not limit your search to the exterior.
- Higashi-Shinjuku: Koshu-Kaido Intersection: Look for the figure hanging from a tree toward the southern part of the area.
- Seibu-Shinjuku: Overbridge Intersection: Check the overpass structure for a hanging figure.
- Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building: Exterior: Search near the building entrance.
- Shinjuku Park: Waterfall Plaza: Look for a figure hanging from a tree on the right, eastern side of the area.
- Akihabara Station: Electric Town South Exit: Search along the shopping street near the shops and maid cosplayers.
- Akihabara: A Certain Back Alley: Check the ground near the taxi and parking area.
- Marunonaka Line: Shinjuku Station: Search the station platform toward one end.
- Shinjuku Underground Waterway: South Block: Check the southeastern section, near the edge of the area.
- Shinjuku Underground Waterway: North Block: Look over the water in the southern part of the area for a floating figure.
- Shinjuku Underground Reservoir: Search near the stairway connecting the underground waterways, around the exit area.
Register each Soul Bit with DigiAttack
Seeing an Etemon figure is not enough to count it as collected. Use DigiAttack on each Soul Bit and confirm it registers before leaving the area. If your total is short, revisit the named locations and check the hiding places that are easiest to overlook: the interior of Nakazawa Gourmet Coffee, elevated trees and overpass structures, the water surface, and the underground reservoir near the stairs.
Complete All Eyes on Me!
After the count reaches 17, travel back to the In-Between Theater. Speak with Etemon there to receive his final message and close the side mission.
