Yes. GOG announced on January 29, 2025, that the original Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 had returned to PC through its store. Both editions are part of GOG’s Preservation Program and are described by GOG as DRM-free, with their original content intact. GOG lists Windows 10 and 11 support for both games, along with updates for modern PCs and controllers.
What GOG brought back
The release covers the original PC versions of both Capcom games, sold digitally through GOG. The January 29, 2025 announcement says the games joined the GOG Preservation Program and are DRM-free. GOG also says the original content remains intact. Read GOG’s announcement.
GOG framed the preservation effort against a wider access problem, reporting that “87% of all games made before 2010 are now inaccessible” and attributing the figure to the Video Game History Foundation, 2025. That statistic is quoted here as it appears in GOG’s announcement; the underlying Foundation report is not linked there.

Does Dino Crisis 2 have the T-Rex roar?
Yes, according to the current Dino Crisis 2 changelog on GOG: a hotfix restored the missing T-Rex roar. This is a store-listed update, not a claim based on independent testing.
Can you use modern controllers?
Both GOG listings name Microsoft Xbox Series controllers among the supported modern controllers. A controller is optional; GOG does not list one as a requirement. Consult the first game’s listing and the sequel’s listing for their current support details.

Can you buy both games together?
