The three main regional uniforms in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are the Blackshirt Uniform in the Vatican, the Wehrmacht Uniform in Gizeh, and the Royal Army Uniform in Sukhothai. Each has a progression gate, and none makes Indy impossible to detect: captains and some other observers can still recognize him.

Vatican: find the Blackshirt Uniform
The Blackshirt Uniform is not available as soon as you arrive in the Vatican. Progress The Stolen Cat Mummy, meet Gina disguised as a nun, and accompany her on the rescue mission. After the sequence reaches the balcony and an airship appears, head to the newly accessible courtyard in the southern part of the map.
- Enter the southern courtyard after the airship sequence.
- Deal with the three enemies in the area.
- Search the tent for the Blackshirt Uniform and Blackshirt Key.
The uniform lowers the risk of detection around Blackshirts and lets Indy enter the Vatican boxing ring. The key opens selected locked doors in the Vatican.
Gizeh: find the Wehrmacht Uniform
Progress The Idol of Ra and visit the excavation site with Nawal; the site becomes publicly accessible later in the story. The uniform is inside a tower beneath the railway tracks, east of the largest Nazi camp. The tower’s main entrance is locked, so use the whip route on its eastern wall instead.

The disguise reduces detection risk from fascists, helps Indy infiltrate camps, and grants access to the Gizeh boxing ring. The key opens some passages in the camps.
Sukhothai: find the Royal Army Uniform
First unlock boats and free travel around the main Sukhothai map. Then travel to Voss’s main camp in the north. The Royal Army Uniform is in the central part of the camp, with two enemies nearby; one patrols while wearing headgear.
- Use a boat to reach Voss’s northern camp once free travel is available.
- Move stealthily through the central area and silently take down nearby enemies when needed.
- Collect the Royal Army Uniform, Model 1934 pistol, and Royal Army Key.
The uniform reduces the risk of detection in soldier-filled areas and grants access to the Sukhothai boxing ring. The Royal Army Key opens some closed passages in hostile locations.

What disguises do—and what they do not
Disguises are tools for infiltrating guarded areas, not immunity from suspicion. Xbox Wire’s August 20, 2024 gameplay overview describes Indy’s Vatican priest disguise as fooling “most, but not all” of the people he passes, so watching who is nearby still matters: Xbox Wire gameplay overview.

Guides4Gamers distinguishes civilian outfits, which work in areas that are not restricted or prohibited, from enemy disguises, which let Indy enter restricted and prohibited areas without ordinary enemies attacking. It also reports that captains can see through either type. According to that guide, Indy can change outfits through the satchel only when outside enemy line of sight, and a disguise replaces his revolver with an outfit-specific weapon.
