The exact rooms and structures are listed below, with the furnishing cues that help you identify the interaction point.
This was tied to the Tarkov Hospitality event dated June 5, 2026. A later guide describes it as a past event quest that cannot currently be picked up, so check the quest list in your current client and any current official event notice before buying equipment or planning raids.

What you need before starting
Dish Served Cold is a Skier quest associated with Customs, Shoreline, and Woods. Skier’s in-game dialogue asks: “Think you can plant these jammers at the spots I marked, mate?” The objective markers and the wording in the current quest screen should be your primary navigation aids, especially if a patch changes a room’s furniture or the appearance of the camp.

Confirm that the quest is available
Availability is the first check because this quest was connected to a limited-time event. The Tarkov Hospitality archive dates the event to June 5, 2026, while a later guide classifies Dish Served Cold as a past event quest. Those references do not establish that it is active in every current build. Open the Skier quest interface in your installed version and look for the quest itself; if it is absent, do not assume a map run or a purchase will make it appear.

Obtain the Signal Jammers
The quest record lists five Signal Jammers as initial equipment and identifies Mechanic at Loyalty Level 1 as a source. A June 2026 walkthrough likewise directs players to Mechanic LL1 for additional units. These are virtual quest items, not a real-world product. Confirm the number shown in your own objective before entering a raid, because event quests and item requirements can be changed by updates.
Plan around the three maps
There are five placements but only three maps. Organize your attempts by map so you can concentrate on the relevant objective markers and structure names instead of switching between unrelated locations. Keep a written or in-game checklist with two Customs entries, two Shoreline entries, and one Woods entry. Mark each objective only after the interaction completes; arriving at a building is not the same as planting the device.
All five Signal Jammer placement locations
Customs: three-story dorm, room 209
One jammer goes in room 209 of the three-story dorm on Customs. The quest record supplies the room number. The walkthrough places the interaction behind the radiator near the window and directs you to the second floor. Once you are on that floor, use the room number and the objective marker to identify the correct door, then check the radiator-and-window area rather than searching every piece of furniture. If the current marker points to a slightly different spot, follow the marker; room geometry or decoration can change without changing the objective.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Customs: two-story dorm, room 210
The second Customs objective is room 210 in the two-story dorm. This is a different dorm from the three-story building, so do not treat the room number as a continuation of the first stop. The walkthrough describes the first floor and places the jammer next to the radiator under the window. Verify the building height, enter the first floor, and use the room number before looking for the radiator. The objective indicator remains the authority if the furnishing cue does not match your current patch.
Shoreline: smugglers’ camp, bottom hangar
Shoreline has two separate objectives in the smugglers’ camp. The lower one is in the bottom hangar, with the objective text referring to the tables. A walkthrough identifies a table near the armchairs as the likely interaction point. Treat “bottom hangar” and the objective marker as the fixed locators; the table and armchairs are secondary visual cues. If those furnishings have moved, changed, or are difficult to identify, search the marked area rather than abandoning the objective.

Shoreline: smugglers’ camp, upper hangar
The other Shoreline jammer is in the upper hangar at the same smugglers’ camp. The objective describes beds in that hangar, and a walkthrough identifies a metal bed frame with a white mattress. Reach the upper hangar, confirm that the marker is active, and inspect the marked bed area. The quest text and marker should win over an older screenshot or a furnishing description if the camp has been reworked.
Woods: EMERCOM camp, white shipping container
The Woods placement is inside the white shipping container at the EMERCOM camp. A walkthrough describes an open white container with bodies near a watchtower, at the camp near RUAF and the road toward Sawmill. Use the EMERCOM camp name and the objective marker to find the site, then enter the white container and look for the interaction inside it. The nearby watchtower, RUAF reference, and Sawmill road are orientation clues; they are not substitutes for confirming the marked container.
How to execute the quest without losing track
Use the objective as a two-stage check
For every stop, first confirm that you are at the named map structure, then confirm that the marker is on the specific room, hangar, table, bed area, or container. This prevents common errors such as entering the wrong dorm, searching the wrong level of the smugglers’ camp, or finding a white container elsewhere on Woods. The quest’s broad destination and the marker’s precise position work together: neither a generic building name nor a remembered screenshot is sufficient on its own.
Keep the five destinations distinct
Customs contains two separate dorm objectives, Shoreline contains two hangar objectives within one camp, and Woods contains one container objective. Record progress by map and structure rather than by a single count. A count of “three completed” does not tell you which Shoreline hangar remains, while a checklist with five named entries does.
Verify completion before leaving
After interacting, wait for the objective state to update in the quest interface or raid HUD used by your current version. If the marker remains active, do not assume the placement registered. Recheck the precise room or furnishing area before extracting. The available quest record does not list a special extraction requirement, so rely on the normal completion and turn-in instructions shown by the current client rather than an old event guide.

Map-by-map planning considerations
Customs runs
The two Customs tasks are in different dorm buildings and on different floors. Plan enough time to identify the building before entering a room. The three-story dorm task is on the second floor; the two-story dorm task is on the first floor. Room numbers are the decisive identifiers, while the radiator and window cues help you orient once inside. If one marker disappears after completion, keep the other dorm entry on your checklist until it also records as finished.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Shoreline runs
Both Shoreline tasks use the smugglers’ camp but are separated vertically into the bottom and upper hangars. The objective wording distinguishes tables from beds. A lower-hangar table near armchairs is a walkthrough cue for one task; a metal bed frame with a white mattress is a cue for the other. Because the two descriptions come from different references and may age differently, enter the correct hangar first and then trust the active marker over furniture memory.
Woods runs
The Woods task is less about a room number and more about identifying the correct camp and container. The EMERCOM camp reference, the white shipping container, and the nearby watchtower/RUAF-to-Sawmill orientation clues narrow the search. The device belongs inside the container, not merely beside it. If the container is closed, inaccessible, or visually different from an older walkthrough, use the marker and current objective text to determine whether the scene has changed.
Why walkthrough details can disagree
The quest record and walkthroughs agree on the five broad destinations, but the Shoreline descriptions are not identical in wording. The objective refers to tables in the bottom hangar and beds in the upper hangar; the walkthrough adds armchairs, a metal bed frame, and a white mattress. Those details are useful for recognition, not permanent guarantees. An update can move props, alter lighting, or replace furniture while leaving the objective location intact.
For that reason, use this priority order when information conflicts:
Rank #4
- Current quest objective and map marker: these identify the destination in the build you are playing.
- Named structure: confirm the correct dorm, hangar, or EMERCOM camp before searching.
- Room, floor, or container description: use the room number, hangar level, floor, or white-container instruction to narrow the interaction.
- Furnishing cue from an older guide: use it only as a visual aid, and disregard it if the current marker points elsewhere.

Because the event status and reward table can change independently, check the current quest panel for the values attached to your version before you commit inventory space or plan around a specific payout.
Troubleshooting missed or inactive objectives
The quest is not in Skier’s list
That is consistent with the later classification of Dish Served Cold as a past event quest. Confirm the event status in the client and consult current official event notices. Do not assume that owning Signal Jammers, reaching Mechanic Loyalty Level 1, or visiting a destination will unlock a quest that is not currently offered.
The marker is at the structure but the interaction is not visible
Recheck the map, building, floor, and room or hangar level. On Customs, distinguish the three-story and two-story dorms before relying on the room number. On Shoreline, confirm bottom versus upper hangar. On Woods, make sure the container is the white one at EMERCOM camp. Then search the marked area using the furnishing cue only as a guide.
A furnishing does not match a walkthrough
Follow the active objective marker and the wording in the current quest. The Shoreline furnishing descriptions are secondary cues from walkthroughs and may not survive a scene update. If the marker remains on the named structure, continue searching that marked area rather than treating an absent armchair, bed frame, or mattress as proof that the quest is broken.
The objective count does not change
Remain in the interaction area long enough for the game to register the placement, then check the quest status. If it still does not update, leave and re-enter the marked room or container, verify that the Signal Jammer requirement is present in your inventory, and use the exact current marker instead of a memorized location. If the quest remains unavailable or unresponsive after those checks, its event state or a game-side issue may be responsible; the available references do not document a separate recovery procedure.
Quick Recap
Final checklist
- Confirm Dish Served Cold is offered by Skier in your current client.
- Verify that your objective calls for five Signal Jammers.
- Obtain the in-game items through the source shown by your version, with Mechanic Loyalty Level 1 listed as the documented source.
- Complete both Customs dorm objectives, both Shoreline smugglers’ camp hangar objectives, and the Woods EMERCOM container objective.
- Use the active marker and quest wording over an older furnishing screenshot.
- Check the reward and follow-up quest entries in your own client because event data can change.
